Hmmm. On paper, this is a great signing. But you gotta wonder why he's on his 4th team this year.
Is he kind of a dick or something?

Maybe Gruden gave his adopted son a gift after Brown went down 2 weeks ago. The Rams just had to figure out what to do with their roster.

McFarland? That’s near Bakersfield.

Yeah Palo Alto is about your cup of tea, Denny,

Not sure if Davis was hurt in college, but agree, that he could be the next Lamar Gordon, Gordon was always healthy, until Marshall Faulk was hurt and then so was Gordon.

If memory serves, Davis was dinged up his first year @ USC, never got completely healthy until his final season. Potential seemed there, but couldn't stay on the field. Pattern seems to continue.

The Gurley inflammation of the LEFT knee is not that surprising. That's the knee he torn his ACL. McVay has used him a large amount early in the season & has taken a ton of hits. Brown did have 43 carries & a few series but not as much as I would have liked to have seen. Brown did have a 5 yard per carry & was a outstanding last line of protection for Goff too. So there was not much of a drop off when Brown was in.

RB Justin Davis is not a rookie either & has had two full years of Rams Training Camps & HD pre season action & being here for the same amount of time. In 2017 Davis had 1 carry & this season he had 2. John Kelly got 2 in last Sundays's game for 4 yds.

ROD has been posting with hopes to see more of RB's Davis & Kelly when we were up in games in order to keep our best offensive player Gurley fresh & in full health for the playoffs :shocking:. McVay had this team up several TD's in 3 games & we still saw a ton of Gurley & no Kelly or Davis:thinking:

So with Gurley's knee unhealthy & Brown done for the season, McVay had to go hunting the WWC care help this team limp into the playoffs. Okay I understand & CJ was a good RB @ or time. But what bothers me here is he had two younger RB's sitting on the bench getting ZERO time in this offense during game timeo_O

Not sure that was a good example of the genius HC decision. I know, I know I am just a ignoramus Ram fan.

You heartless, Sportsbook bastid! ~Mrs Anderson

I was rather surprised to see that Anderson is only 27. It just seems that he's been around a lot longer than that.
He actually should be in his prime for a running back right now.
I'm all in.Good pickup by the Rams.

My reaction as well. I thought he was for sure 30.

You say that CJ is our worst RB because nobody sign him but Davis and Kelly has only 2 runs each this season, I don't think it seems better. And even if it's past is irrelevant as RB can speedly down, I think experience in the league can help.
Just my 2 cents.
