It’s on the Rams app, I dunno how to link it…

Few surprises… Rapp ahead of Burgess is one…

But Van Jefferson isn’t even listed and they’ve listed everyone (unless he was out on pup, I don’t think pup folks are in it)

Seemed like a big omission unless I’ve missed something

Woops, posted in training camp thread so will just quote the depth chart here and my reply...

First depth chart, sorry if this posted somewhere already. But some interesting fodder that probably really doesn't matter at this point but hey... we'll over react to it regardless. But first shockers...
Taylor Rapp starting over Fuller.
Garrett and Hardy already leaping past Lewis.
No Bobby Evans
Troy Hill starting outside.

Yeah the Rams still love Rapp. Sure would be nice to see him repay their belief with a huge season.

I will say that if Rapp and Scott are the primary duo, plus with Wags added to the ILBs... Rams gonna be hard on opposing RBs.

Agreed, he is very frustrating but maybe playing behind a Wagner and Jones combo will let him elevate his game? I don't know, it's usually in coverage where he tends to frustrate though so not sure what's going on there. I'm assuming Fuller is still working back to being 100% so this is just a formality until that happens.

Yeah you're probably right about Fuller. I haven't been tracking injuries. Fuller & Scott sounds damn good to me but if it's Scott & Rapp we'll see how it goes.

Brian Allen Stands Alone! Now obviously the likes of Shelton, Kolone & Jack Snyder can play Center, but considering all the shit I flew at Allen, before last season, #55 stands alone.

But have you bought Allen's Michigan St jersey yet.

Let's hope #15 is next. Not in the standing alone but in proving literally an entire fanbase wrong

Think this thing should be written in crayon right now... but it is interesting that at CB it's Hill and Ramsey just like it was two years ago. Question is, does Hill again move inside to nickel and then is it Long or Rochelle that takes over at outside CB....

(There's a scenario where Hill stays outside and Long comes in for nickel where he actually played well the last few games and playoffs of last season but I see that as less likely).

Edit: Looks like McVay said in his presser that he's eager to watch Rochelle in preseason and Long, Ramsey and Hill won't play so there's an answer of sorts. Only question now is does Hill kick in to nickel like two years ago, I have to think he does.

These are nice and all but really not much to take from them. Haven't even started the real practices the joint practices ore the glorified scrimmages (preseason games).

Depth is a concern in some areas. The starters are, well, champions.

DL: this is now an ongoing concern of mine. I was counting on BB3 making a move this season, but he’s off to a bad start with the suspension.

ILB: yikes! Hope Wagner and EJ stay healthy. Who comes off the field when we run the nickel?

WR: without seeing Jefferson on the roster, it looks kinda thin after our starters. Maybe McCutcheon has a shot should VJ start inactive. I’m just not seeing a place for Harris right now. I would be more excited about him if we were still hoping for 8-8 seasons, but we’ve got a championship roster to maintain.
Gotta cross my fingers and hope Atwell makes the leap this year. Skow has a place on STs at the very least.

CBs: now this looks interesting. Who rotates in when we run a nickel? A dime? Lotta young talent back there. Could be our deepest unit after…

OL: I was finally NOT overly concerned last year (Center was the only spot that had me thinking). Now that we saw a solid season from Allen, I’m really thinking this OL is gonna be a legit 7-8 deep every Sunday—with still more talent waiting in the wings.

RBs: just a training room mess. All kinds of talent, though. As long as the Rams have 2 healthy backs each week out of Akers, Henderson, and KW, the offense should be just fine; otherwise, Funk and company (sounds like a band!) are gonna have to step up.

I actually like Skowronek a lot. Check out the hit he layed on special teams in the 4th quarter against frisco in the Championship game. Layed the 9er out big time. He's probably WR #4 at this point behind Jefferson.
