We all know about Jalen RAMsey hitting Taylor Rapp. It was against Baltimore of all things. I call it IRONIC how things played out after that.
—Les Snead already got his money’s worth on the BALL(penis) grabber by trading Kenny Young who was playing very well for The Rams (btw).
-The trade only makes the DJ1 ME not WE guy being released better.
-In comes Von Miller The $100 PLUS Million Man.Then the OBJ phone call to Bobby Trees when OBJ was on his way to Green Bay.

Long story short. Against The Niners 2019 twice RAMsey & Rapp got burned on 3rd or 4th & 15 plus yards in that game.Wade lost his job, because of it.The Arizona game didn’t help either to end his career.Plus his contract was up & Mcvay was ready to role solo, because Wade(Wes) was the reason Kevin Demoff (Les Snead) hired Mcvay.

Back to Eric Weedle. He played & brought Rapp up.Grooming JJ43 as well to take over for him at SS.

Jalen RAMsey respected Eric Weedle & only played with him for a 1/2 season.

To think about it & look back it is MIND BLOWING what happened.
The Rams won a SuperBowl with Eric Weedle at SS calling the plays on defense. Add he was playing with a fractured shoulder ??v ? From like the start of the 2nd series on Defense. The first qrt of the game.

Just to tie it all up to JJ Koski & John Sullivan.

Big Whitworth will stay healthy. He is NOT A 100% DONE!! He knows what Eric Weedle just did as a Rams & believes he can do it as well if ever given that opportunity. Big Whitworth will be ready. He has already been to OTA’s,Training camp, & in the draft room.

There is a Ram player who no one ever talks about.Had a INT my last(2nd to) day of training camp. He has been to every camp with Nick Scott,Rapp,Long,HENDO,Gaines,

His name is Jake Gervase #39 & he is still balling with The Rams.Has basically moved from SS to a small LBer. Will he be a Ram or be on the practice Squad ?

It’s players like Jake Gervase that makes The Rams great. It is a WE not ME team. It’s easy for Rams Fans to knock players like HENDO,Atwell,Lewis ect…. it shouldn’t be about injuries either.Injuries shouldn’t be apart of it either.

Adding players like Tavon Howard still bring value. It’s guys like a Reeder who get overlooked.

Christian Rozeboom#56 is that type of player. He gets over looked, but during the preseason he will be The Bobby Wagner out there calling the plays.
He has improved & was on special teams during the SuperBowl.

AJ Jackson is looking real good as a UDRFA. He was a Big Name.Jack Snyder not so much, but he will open Ram Fans eyes in the preseason.I think he is as good as Bruss & Arcuri.
Both those guys will make the 53.

Les Snead has added a lot of depth. He continues to find these players that fit & Mcvay can develop.
Cheers , I’m a True RAMbler.

Not pleased but I get it due to his blocking. The bigger concern to me is T Lewis behind both Garrett and Hardy. That’s crazy.

I tell you & ALL Rams Fans. Maybe just ask the question about evaluating talent?

Concerning ? Ben Sko is a hard worker. He is basically like a Cooper Kupp type clone. Just saying Greg Olsen is hands on with Ben Sko.He comes out and throws with him.
That is crazy to me. The Raiders OC in 2018,19,20,21 comes out and throws passes after practice working with Ben Sko.
Olsen licking his fingers before each throw doing the over the shoulders(head) passes. He licked his finger over 50 times.
JJ Koski came out & was talking with him while he is doing it.To see the connection’s(relationships)is special.

The next day after practice Greg Olsen is walking up the field drill Ben Sko in the gut 7-10 yards walking up then walking back twice.

Cooper Kupp has Zac Robinson throwing to him. That relationship
Keeps building.

Thats one of the bigger surprises to me.
As I blow up this post.

Like I say about evaluating talent.
What Chris Garrett did in the preseason was incredible.Just go look at T. Anchrum going against Von Miller against Denver.

Chris Garrett took over that games & then was ready to role. In the interviews he had to keep his mask on. I won’t tell anybody that didn’t get VAC’d dumb, or the people who did.The thing is there is a Price on that decision.
Chris Garrett did not get Vac’d & got Covid pretty bad.He sat out all of 2021 for the most part.To learn & play behind Von Miller is special.
I saw on play sort of close & Chris Garrett set up wide.In motion he can change it up,but he is a player who is going to give O’Lineman fits. He makes them Nervous .

With Lewis the less reps the better.Henis not a pure passer or real edge guy. He is a twinner that has a lot of talent.-

Ram fans once again want to keep forgetting about JJ Koski.

All #17 does is make plays & get open. The Rams QB’s trust him as well. He got some good NFL experience last season & plays a little special teams.

He will be a Ram for awhile weather it be on the practice squad or 53?
Who?

Exactly- the guy who has sure hands & will have 12 catches in the 3 preseason games.
I'm pretty comfortable that McVay & Co. are pretty astute judges of talent. So if Koski is not on the 53, I trust that judgement.

RoD members as they check this thread when they get up. Also, I may regret asking this but, who is a "BALL (penis) grabber" lol?

The depth chart is for the active roster. He's not leapfrogging any of the guys on that list. That doesn't mean he won't make the practice squad.

It took me awhile to like that show. The son was definitely the best part of that show.

I really dislike Chris Elliot

Um... which NFC Championship game are you referring to?
Wasn't a NFC championship game.

Was against the Packers when Hill got burned all game.

I blame that on the DL that game.

They barely got any pressure on Rodgers all game.

People make too much of these "unofficial" depth charts. Even during the season, if you watch the actual rotation that tells you who is where on the depth chart. Hill at CB is simply because Rochell missed so much time last year. IMO by the break, it will be Rochell and Durant who are the #2 & 3 CBs IMO. Having Hill as a starting CB won't last. He proved here in LA and in Cleveland that he's a limited zone CB and nothing more.

I expect Hollins, Hardy, and Lewis to rotate during the season opposite Floyd. I do expect Hardy to be the primary backup to Floyd if he gets hurt or comes out for a breather. Hardy IMO will pass Garrett and Lewis on the rotation depth chart at the edge opposite Floyd coming out of their bye week.

I expect Williams to be the #3 RB for the majority of the season. I think coming out of their bye week, Williams will take up the role played by Michel last year in terms of being their 3rd down RB. He's been slowed this TC by getting hurt.

Week one and two of the regular season will tell you who is where on the actual depth chart.

For me, big takeaway from depth chart is that T Lewis is buried to 3rd string, behind a late-round rookie.
That is most likely due to his injury history. If the Horns coaching/medical brass grow more confident in his health, T Lewis' depth ranking could change dramatically.

AD was hurt but Hill had a bad game. He couldn't cover MVS.
