He's probably hoping he doesn't end up on the PS.
I would take that chance...then after Tuesday put Hardy on IR and bring back the Funk if you want to for special teams and if no one picks him up, which is likely. Or put him on the PS.

The Rams played a very soft zone. The way Morris played it early last year. Kendricks is obviously a zone CB who needs to play downhill. His effort was worrisome, off and on. Durant made a lot of rookie mistakes, to be expected.

Burgess has had a good preseason overall.

I love that Preseason is almost over by Tuesday. Let’s get our team together and get ready for the Bills. Maybe tomorrow we’ll find out that AD and Kupp are #1 and #2 on the NFL Top 100 List? That would be nice…..

Yeah absolutely no effort.

Sign me up for this kid and Durant and Rochell. They're young and there will be ups and downs but 100% players with effort to me.

It may have been the Bengals 3rd team but I really liked what I saw in Ragas tonight other than the stupid fumble.

Funk ran against the same players in the 3rd qtr and still couldn't get any yardage.

I'm done with Funk as a RB. Only way he makes the team is as a special teams player.

I haven’t watched the game but it’s recorded on my dvr. I did read stats and play by play on espn website. I don’t see a place for Funk which could mean some creative use of Perkins. Can he catch and block. If so he might be a great weapon as RB/wildcat.

Perkins and Funk don’t look NFL quality.

Thomas and Mcutch show promise.

I liked Durants man coverage and Kendrick’s physicality. Both might become players in time.

Jonah Williams looked good.

Nothing else to write home about.

Liked: K. Thomas, Cutch, Hoecht, and Williams.

Bubbles: Perkins - didn't show me much. Bengals QBs were MVPs of game.

Everything Perkins throws is a soft floater. Been the same since he got to the Rams, he’s never going to improve that.

Both the bungle’s back ups threw the ball better.

I just don’t see using a spot on the 53 for that level of talent.
I Hate that Perkins is even on the roster. What a waist of a roster spot. All he can do good is run. Whats worse is, he not good enough to really get a good look at the receivers. Basically McCutchen bailed him out the whole preseason. We can't even get a good look at Harris. Him running for the score means nothing for the team. I like McCutchen and that a week from thursday is real football.

McClutch will be on this roster. Dude is a grinder. I like the work ethic and he will get better under Kupp and ARob.

How can the Bengals have two backup QBs that are better than both the Rams backups? I didn't like that.

This Rams team continues to skate on thin ice in the backup QB and Oline positions. It unsettling. Ill throw running back into that mix too. Shanahan finds starter level RBs in the late rounds. What's up with the Rams scouting in these areas?

Like: Appears that Carberry finally found a replacement for RG Rookie Logan Bruss Saturday afternoon. #64 Jack Snyder. Mission accomplished!:thumbsup1:

Like: ER Keir Thomas was the best edge defender against the Bengals need to remind everyone ER's Chris Garrett & Benton Whitley played. :thumbsup1:

Dislike: Rams DC Morris can not be pleased with his safety performances....very weak.

Dislike : McVay did not play any NFL-caliber RB against the Bengals, after Henderson/ Akers/ Williams ....none deserve to make the MR53.:not:

To be fair pre-season isn’t about expecting, its more about inspecting. Proper decisions to be made and move forward. The weakest links have been noticed and will be cut accordingly.
