6'1", long arms, 4.3 40, great quickness and hip flexibility, and averaged 5 INTs per year in college (with most career pick sixes in FBS history). The talent is there. Play strength is a problem. And he has struggled immensely transitioning to the NFL. But he's still only 23. The right coach and scheme might be able to bring more out of him. First thing you have to do is get him believing in himself again (rebuild the confidence). When you draft a corner they come out of the draft with raw abilities. Not all of them have the ability to play the ball at the NFL level.
Kendrick played the ball, which I love, but he did not have the ability to stick with receivers at this level. His lack of speed killed his chances.
White was a reclamation project, a dice roll on health that we lost.
This kid has legit speed. And he has film at college level and pro level showing him undercutting routes and playing the ball with his head up. Still might bust. But the raw skills are there.
