Jonah Jackson might have lingering issues from his knee injury suffered in playoffs? No bueno. Knees always scare me, more so than any other type of injury.

I wonder if the Rams expected his knee issues to be resolved by now? Four months later and still limited?

Knees are a bitch....

It would be pretty daft to guarantee $34m to someone without carrying out intensive checks first.
Yeah, which is why the latest news seems puzzling. Hope it's just precautionary.

Brian Allen, Todd Gurley, Terrell Lewis... knees can be so tricky.

Sounds like JJ had a meniscus repair in late January:

He will be ready for training camp.He doesn’t need to be on the grass right now.

Joke about your references about knee injuries.I won’t mention the positives, but one player in particular has been amazing & contines to define hard work & doing the right thing.

I will say Joesph Noteboom is an example that doesn’t get the credit of how he has worked through injuries to get better.IMO he has never been a better NFL Player in his career .

Achilles injuries scare me more. I rarely see players come back from Achilles injuries at full mobility.

Cam Akers had much more mobility before the injury.

After the injury, I did not see him cut as smoothly as he had prior to the injury.

Im curious why some it seems not to affect this and others it does quite a bit? Wonder if genes have anything to play into it or if it’s mostly the surgeon? Rehab?

Maybe - keg drains, raves, midnight madness parties, chasing tail. It’s all so exhausting.

This is why the Limmer pick might turn out to be a huge under the radar addition.

Limmer might be playing this year at C or G if Jackson has issues.

Agree. Limmer could end up being the silver lining in this draft.

I gotta admit I was not over the moon when the Rams signed Jackson. I didn’t like the idea of giving him a contract that topped Dotson’s, for one thing; and I didn’t like the idea of bringing in an injured player for that kinda $$ when the Rams could have just drafted a Center and kept Avila at LG. It would have been cheaper and healthier.

But Jackson is a Ram now. He’s part of a plan that looks good on paper. He needs to be ready during camp to get some meaningful reps with the starters before opening day.

As for now, I’m curious how the reps were split between Limmer and McAllister at Center with Avila at LG and who played LG with Avila at Center.

Using some empathy, Georgia did win back to back national championships which makes the offseason fairly short 2 years in a row. Title games are in early January and Spring games in April. Players start preparing for the NFL draft right after the season as well I’d imagine.

Rams are taking the high road by keeping this in house but I feel that sooner or later Bennet will need to address the media and just be honest. Addiction and or mental health issues (as many have speculated) are more accepted as real issues that anyone affect anyone; compared to maybe 20 years ago anyway.

Jared Verse signed. That's the full rookie draft class.
OTC and Spotrac have up-dated.

OTC has the Rams' cap space at $8.6M; and Spotrac has it at $9.2M. That's for the top-51 contracts.

The two sites are rarely in sync but that's close. The mid-point between the two sites is $8.9M.

I know some were wondering about this so here's a quote from Jourdan's article today.

• Renowned offensive line coach Mike Munchak, who consulted for the Rams last season alongside first-time position coach Ryan Wendell, was back out at OTAs this week. McVay said the team would like to retain Munchak in that capacity if he were amenable.
