Updating this thread in this fluid situation it appears the Rams have the ability to receive four current 2022 comp picks. Rams could sign a UFA from another team that could vastly affect the below configuration. Rams more likely will avoid UFA's & target 2022 released free agents or trade for the desired player. There are still three major pending Ram UFA's yet to sign. Austin Blythe/ Troy Hill & Josh Reynolds.
I do expect
Troy Hill to get a sizeable contract much higher than Ebukam or Everett. I expect to see at least an $8 million year deal for Hill that might provide the Rams a 5th rd comp pick in place of a 6th rd pick. Reynolds should fall into the Morgan Fox range. So for right now, this is how it's going for Snead.
2022 Ram Projected COMPENSATORY PICKS:
Round 3 – The Rams awarded a
second third-round compensatory pick for the loss of Director of College Scouting Brad Holmes to the Detroit Lions as their new General Manager.
Round 4 – The Rams currently project to be awarded a fourth-round compensatory pick for the loss of safety John Johnson.
Round 6 – The Rams currently project to be awarded a sixth-round compensatory pick for the loss of outside linebacker Samson Ebukam.
Round 6 – The Rams currently project to be awarded a sixth-round compensatory pick for the loss of tight end Gerald Everett.
2022 Projected Ram Draft is assembling close to the below with NINE selections plus a good chance to see it get enhanced when Troy Hill or even Austin Blythe signs a better deal than Everett or Ebukam:
#1-Traded to Detroit/Stafford
#2-Rams own
#3-Rams own
#3-Rams awarded Compensatory Pick for Brad Holmes
#4-Traded to Houston/Cooks
#4-Rams awarded Compensatory Pick for JJ III
#5-Rams own
#6-Rams own
#6-Rams awarded Compensatory Pick for Samson Ebukam
#6-Rams awarded Compensatory Pick for Gerald Everett
#7- Rams own
