Yeah, the secondary, return units, and WR position needs nore speed. I would even add LB. Speights and Landman are solid, but if you could upgrade Speights with a real ass kicker with speed, it would make a big improvement overall on D.

Ben Kotwica was hired in the off-season to be the Assistant ST-coordinator, so the transition will ... hopefully ... be seamless; and, of course an improvement.
Kotwica has been around for a long time ... almost twenty years in the NFL; and a ST-coordinator for three different teams, including Washington where he over-lapped McVay (Offensive Coordinator).
Most recently in Denver, with Payton but this past off-season, he hired his former ST-coordinator, Darren Rizzi ... who is very well regarded. Rizzi stayed in New Orleans after Payton; and had the title Assistant Head Coach added to his STC role. When Dennis Allen was fired in mid-season 2024, it was Rizzi who took-over as the interim-Head Coach.
Kotwica was a good add for the Rams this past off-season ... hopefully the ST-unit will show improvement.

My understanding is he did well with Denvers ST but Peyton wanted his own guy.
Should of known when Mcvay said the punt return changed the course of the game...that was the final straw
