Right call. We have the worst special teams unit in the NFL. Three of our four losses were arguably caused by special teams (PHI, SF, and SEA). (For those who have forgotten, we went to OT against SF because Karty's PAT was blocked earlier in the game.)

I'm baffled that our best KRs are Rivers and Whittington. Most of the time, they run themselves into the coverage team, instead of finding a crease. And they're both so slow that even if they find a crease, they're getting caught.Wow. A well deserved firing.

Need more team speed here as well as on offense. I’m a fan of Xavier Smith. A specialist would be nice on returns though.
I guess they removed Corum from KR duties because he's become so valuable on offense.
To my eye, Whittington has some decent speed. From what I saw, the blocking looked like shit.
