I don't see how, regardless of the number of positive tests, there can be a postponement of the game (unless we're talking about moving it one day to Monday night). No more bye weeks left.

This is so frustrating.

This is frustrating, and I hope the NFL doesn't make us forfeit. But above all, I hope the players on the list make a full and swift recovery; we're going to need them all to win a championship.

With nine players hitting the COVID-List today, that makes 25!

Not sure the Rams have enough LBs and DBs to field a team right now.

Hoping some of the players pass the new testing standard.

The NFL needs to postpone this game as this is just fucked up to the Rams big time. The Rams followed all of the rules so they shouldn't be penalized for this. Talk about a cluster fuck.

53+16= 69 (nice)

69-25=44

So we can't even field a 46 man roster at the moment

The only possible way to reschedule that I can see would be to push the playoffs back by a week, play makeup games in the week that would have been Wild Card Weekend, and have only one week between the championship round and the Super Bowl.

Of course, that would suck for the Rams, would could, under such a plan, end up being the only playoff team that does not get a bye.

They could push the game to Tuesday like they did last year if my memory serves me right. Figure that way the new guidelines help enough players get cleared. It's a possible solution but definitely not guaranteed to work.

Yes... they could push it by a day or two. The question, as you indicated, is whether that would solve the problem.

My gut tells me that tomorrow and Saturday we're going to get word that some of the listed players are now eligible. The question is whether more will be added.

Man, this sucks.

Totally agree there, this definitely sucks ass. I'm sure we'll all be checking up constantly for some hopeful good news in the following days to come. I hope no one else is added cuz at this rate, the stadium vendors will be our only replacements. This is nuts.
