Maybe some posters need a little perspective. I'm here to help.

May I suggest the Off Topic Board where ROD-poster Rams-Of-Castamere was kind enough to up-date both the Boobie and Booty threads with some outstanding additions.

Guys, lets focus on what truly matters. Boobies, Booty and the Rams ... not necessarily in that order.

I didn't want to re-order it to the Rams Boobies and Booty because that could be misconstrued.

I think we should be told what version of covid they have found at Rams Park if its Omicron isn't that different than Delta? less harmful more like the common cold? in fact this morning some doctors are wondering out loud if it is a cold and unrelated to covid. I'm no expert but we need to clear this up. It shouldn't take this long for the CDC to give us an answer. Are we really going to shut down the season for what is basically a cold?
Imo it’s not realistic to expect instant assessments of a new virus variant. It requires not just expert analysis but reliable data. It’s not instant replay where the info is immediately at hand.

Unfortunately, and in large part for the same reasons, imo it may also be unrealistic to expect institutions such as the NFL to turn around their protocols on a dime in this situation.

Please note I am NOT making any comment on whether the NFL is or has been acting wisely here.

Looks like the NFL will be changing their covid policies. Im sure if youre vaxed but still test positive, you should be able to still be involved. But who knows.

Double duh. Finally someone with at least a spec of common sense.
If the NFL doesn't drastically change their approach the season will come to a screeching halt. The fact the our drs and scientist are putting it out there that we can eradicate a virus it's extremely insulting tbh. And it's even more of a head scratcher that these corporations go along w it.

Having said that, I'm impressed that this has not gotten ugly.
As am I, given the volatility of the subject. (And I have VERY strong feelings on the subject).

Well done all!:thumbsup1::clap::fistbump1:

Well when you think about it. The argument isn't with anyone in particular. It's really about how the NFL is once again screwing up a situation that we and they have no control over.
We've delt w MRSA, the Flu, viruses, etc that has swept thru team locker rooms. Usually the NFL stays out of unless they have unsafe working conditions. The fact that the NFL is this heavily involved in it should be a big red flag. In hindsight they should have had protocols in place, have an agreement w the players union and go from there. Most players are vaxed (lol) I think 97% or something like that. So I mean at this point the players know the risk which is minimal actually less than minimal as most players are under 40 and in good health which has a 99.993 chance of survival, and that's not even including if they've had the jab.
It should be a non issue.

How many NFL players have died from covid since the outbreak started?

How many NFL players have been hospitalized because of the covid virus?

Just curious.

Oh shit, I'm going there and if lotion supplies are scarce near where I live, it wasn't me!

Long story short. I hope all the players "possible with COVID" recover in a timely and health manor.

Also, I'm unvaccinated. And will stay so. With that said, I 100% support people to vax, or remain unvaxxed.

Being vaxxed should be a personal decision. Should never be mandated. I agree.

And no one here is threatening each other to find them in the parking lot after the next game, so this is pretty civil, haha.
I don't know! Looks pretty threatening in here :zany:

Like I said I'm not going to dive into the political aspect of this so I don't want anyone to think I'm inconsiderate on the matter I am not. I just come here to escape the real world as I do when I watch any sporting event.

Had to preface with that so I can get to the heart of the matter and our fandom.

Who the hell is playing for us this week. If the NFL drags there feet on this and allows the Rams to field a high school team and then 3 weeks from now it strikes Tampa or the Cowgirls and they start to rearrange and cancel stuff I will flip the eff out.

We fought to get that Arizona win I certainly would not want to take a step backwards because we fielding half a team.

Yup and that's probably their biggest issue.
