I would mostly agree but that fake punt was a first down and that was absolutely huge.

I'm also sick of this QB is down when diving forward bullshit. That shit is a fumble for everyone else but the QB and that is dumb as shit. Twice in a row it's happened.

Game of inches, I knew that just a handful of calls would impact the game, and sure enough.

Possibly because you're sitting at home, with absolutely no knowledge of what is going on down on the field? Dunno...just spit ballin here....
Good spit ball. Only it doesn’t account for what my eyes saw. Third and 10, Brees scanning the field, Donald jumping in place five yards away.

Can’t unsee that.

Sorry everyone, it was my fault as my lucky undefeated Rams shirt was in the laundry today.

They played as badly as they could have. They are a better team than this.
Come on bro.

They didn't play "as badly as they could have" that's hyperbole! You don't come back from 21 down and play bad...and lets not forget a very important first down was stolen at an important point in the game. The Rams definitely didn't play their best though...I grant you that.

Might be a slap in the face but we can't afford to bench peters but I would put him on teams second receiver and put anyone on Thomas and so on moving forward.... whoever would of been on Thomas today could not have done any worse.

I'll say this in hindsight...after watching that play again...Peters was trying to communicate,,,even so though...at that point he should have at least been in position knowing that guy was a key weapon and what was at stake...NOT A VETERAN USING HIS HEAD!!!

Good teams have a way of making other good teams look bad.....that's football.
The Rams D has some weaknesses.
Unfortunately it aligns well with what NO does well.
The D accounted itself pretty well until Peters played Thomas at the line and didn't jam him.

We finished the game with two consecutive 3 and outs. Jared looked nervous and his throws reflected his mind set. Woods was open both times and he missed what should have been easy passes. I hope he realizes that we will be in a bunch of close 4th qtr games in the future and he elevates his game or we are going to have a hard time pulling many of these out going forward.
I do believe that overall Mr. Goff has played very well this year but something went awry on those last two series.

I think the 3 and outs were more based on the play calling than on Goff. It's my thoughts that the Saints were more afraid of the pass than the run. You're better of trying the run on first down than on 2nd down...and you give Gurley the better opportunity by sweeping him and letting him find the hole.

I would say Goff was more hyper than nervous, which made the ball sail on him...but if you start out putting the ball in Gurley's hands first, who knows what happens. Either way for Goff this gets chalked up as experience and he'll be more ready for it...and lastly, I think we'll hear McVay admit he could have called those possessions better.

Either way hindsight is 20-20...LEARN FROM IT!

Actually he should have said ... The defense played about as bad as they could in the first half...

And we still came back to make it a game.

And Cooks was held on that last play.

They called it on Peters in the first series how come they didn't call it then for the Rams

Crappy Refs

We are now 0-7 when Vinodouche refs. Coincidence?
