Rams had shot at it. many things bad, tackling red zone, but this was a suspect non-call -- meant to say defenseless, not targeting

looked like at least two of the three ... tough loss but a very good year. Lions one point better than the Rams,

Really bad call but hate it when refs get to affect a game due to missed opportunities
I know, but I still lost my shit at him lol.

Go Rams.
which one there were 2

We played solid D basically pitched a shutout after first 3 drives.

Welcome to the playoffs. You're not gonna score every trip to the redzone. You're gonna need to fight and battle and it comes down to a handful of plays. Overall I'm proud they didn't get buried in this game. They could have pulled a Cowboys but our kids have some balls to them.
Hard to pull a fix with that kind of dominance.

Easy with a competitive game.

This was a fix.

No other explanation.

Other friends with other teams have been saying this for a while now.

Slowly I have seen why.

What is best for ratings?

I love the Rams but losing respect for the league.

Please replace Michael Hoecht as starter OLB next year, as he got beat so many times because he is too big and slow.

As much as we want to blame the refs, they bailed us out late in the 1st half on a drive where DET might have scored another TD. Our D shit the bed in the 1st half and 3 redzone trips with only FGs really hurt us. That's why we lost. If we convert even 1 of those 3 RZ trips, the refs are taken out of the game.

So I'm bummed, but I'm still happy with the season we had. And I'd rather see DET win the NFC than any of the other teams still playing, especially the fucking 49ers.

Possibly but likely specious. I think L.A would have been a better market but honestly who knows what shenanigans are in play

This is the correct take IMO. The refs are not the reason we lost. It just hurts because if they do their job, we might well have won despite our own errors - perhaps even likely would have won? Not sure what the win probability stats would have said if Puka draws that PI.

Once again, the sorry arse NFL officiating rears its ugly head to affect the outcome of another game. When will this shit end. I have said it over and over again these dumb arse officials are running the game we all love. I say this game's outcome was directly affected by the officials. All these NFL officials are either corrupt or just completely incompetent. When will the NFL say enough is enough?

Fuck Detroit. I'd rather see anyone but them or SF get it. They put some dirty ass hits on our players today. Lost a lot of respect for that team.

The one thing the league should address is hits like the one on Higbee. In slow-mo it looked bad. Could of broke his leg. They have defenseless receiver penalties but something like that isn't. Sad.

Oh well. Cant settle for field goals. The play calling in the red zone sucked and has been mcvays achiles heel for ever
Kyren only got 13 runs…4.7 avg…Gurley had 13 Carries in the first round playoff loss to the Falcons after resting his stars the week before. Somehow, Sean tried to make his QB the only hero…and it opened the gates for the refs to swallow their whistles on a crucial Puka hold. Good things happen for the Rams when Kyren carry’s the rock at least 20 times…saves wear and tear on Stafford too.

I was previously rooting for Detroit. I'm now just agnostic about who wins, as long as it is not SF. The Lions lost me as a well-wisher with their dirty play. A number of targeted head shots IMO.
Same here. Those dirty shots are a total turn off. Screw the Lions. Hope Campbell cries before the season ends for him.

Respectfully, we didn't get robbed. The refs sucked ass both ways. We got screwed in the second half. Detroit got screwed in the first half. Refs deserve a ton of criticism. (Wrolstad's crew is shit.) But we didn't get robbed. We lost because we didn't punch in TDs in the red zone.
Yes. We did get robbed!

I agree the refs have an agenda. I agree they wanted Detroit to advance.

But in the end way I see it there are teams who are contenders and there are teams that are there to be eliminated. We were the latter. So not too worked up about it.

The lions are ranked 3rd against the run and 27th against the pass.

Folks...I've said it so many times...and I'm gonna say it again...McVAY simply outsmarts himself a lot. You have the 3rd best RB in the league and three times you don't use him in the red zone...and come away with field goals!!! If you score a TD on just one, you win the game...

Kyren kept leaving the game. He was on the sideline on several drives and then ultimately missed the last quarter of the game
