I am pretty shocked he managed it. If a player fumbles that far into his career, that consistently, all throughout college, and well into the NFL, it does not typically get better. Somehow he found a way! Williams deserves huge props!

I was one of his biggest critics. A smaller, slow RB that fumbles repeatedly - and at back-breaking moments - is not a viable RB1 IMO. And that is so even if they can move the chains and pass protect, which KW is great at. So I was not really a fan. But he has turned it around and shut me up.

I'd want to see 1 more season without massive ball security issues before I sleep totally easy.

But with fumble issues under control, KW is not only a bonafied RB1, but an great one at that. Just outside elite territory IMO. To be elite, I really do think you need to be able to house it, at least from time to time, if you get a massive running lane opened up for you. Williams never has in hire entire career that I can recall - though I am open to correction on that. It's just not in his toolbox. He only has 10 runs of 20+ yards in his career as per a quick Google search, which is mind-blowing given his volume, and the strength of the Rams offensive line during his tenure. Corum, who is hardly a speedster, is not far off half that from just this season. Both are great RBs. Corum is definitely more explosive. I prefer Williams more on balance, but if Corum's pass protection can develop with experience, and get up to Williams' level, I might give him the edge. Really curious what Hunter can bring to the RB room too.

Let’s put it in perspective:

-KWill was used very sparingly his first year.
-So in 3 years he’s lost 7 fumbles in the regular season and 1 fumble in 6 playoff games.

and here I was thinking he won the Walter Payton Man of The Year award which he has been nominated for

Love won't make it to 13 and even if he did... they still need a WR #1b. Devonta wont be around after 2026 and if Puka got injured it would be devastating. Even if they did, however, and drafted a WR at 29 the CB room would suffer. Who knows with McSnead however. All I know is that the Rams O will be great again next year no matter who they draft. And I can't wait for the draft.

We really can't decide on who should be targeted until we see how FA plays out.

Credit to K-Will; he's definitely continuing the legacy that S-Jax inspired in him. He's got the best vision I've seen in a Rams running back since Faulk, and he's simply the best pass protecting back in the league.

I wanted to trade him after the fumbles, but he proved me so wrong, and I'm happy to eat that Kentucky Fried Crow - beak, talons, feathers, and all.

If Love somehow makes it to 13, it's a no-brainer. He'd be the next great Ram RB at RB1a, with KW to spell him at RB1b. It would be a devastating combo.
Rams have too many needs in other areas. Love is a good player but rb isn’t an area of need and with McVay’s track record the Rams don’t usually have an opportunity drafting this low because of their success. Love would improve the RB room but it would cost them an opportunity to fill much bigger needs at CB, WR And OT. The need in the secondary is WAY TOO BIG TO NOT ADDRESS.

We’ve got cap dollars to fill in places too, which is awesome.

Williams and Corum are a great 1-2 punch. They work so well interchangeably.

One thing about Kyren… when he fumbles… he shows his disappointment. Dude is such a hard worker. No surprise he was able to tight things up to finish the season.

I just watched some youtube and the guy rips off 9 yards+ on a regular basis as well as being an amazing pass receiver. He's a mini Todd Gurley with a little Marshall Faulk out of the backfield. That would be insane to get him @13!

Well, what you do is trade Corum for a mid rd pick, and you now have a dynamic weapon in the run game and pass game to learn under Williams. Plus, Williams takes some of the workload off of him so you don't run him into the ground.

plenty of other draft threads.. let's not turn this into one also!
