Guys, it is 6:55pm down here. I will check again before I go to bed in a few hours. If it still isn't my pick, I will be back on around 6:45am tomorrow morning. Hopefully I can make my pick tonight (downunder time). I would normally just send a couple of picks to Alan but I want to see what the next two picks hold before I make a call on my pick.

While it seems desperate at face value, think it through as those teams will.
Browns got nothing. They have 2 1st's They can use one on a QB to insure they get one. Petty would be their choice. He sits for a year as Manziel implodes. Petty maybe gone before they pick in the 2nd.
Kelly recruited Hundley hard in college. Eagles are set this year, but next year Bradford is a FA and noting young behind him. Kelly gets a guy he likes, gets him a year in his system and the Eagles have a option for the future.

They would trade down. Otherwise they would be epic reaches. A lot of people see Hundley making it to the third. Petty will go in the second. But no way do I see him sneaking into the first unless it's the end of the first In a trade down or up scenario.

With AJ Cann off the Board to the Jets earlier in the 2nd round, I started to re-appraise my board and draft intentions overall. I was worried that pick may start a run on OL picks.

There is a wealth of OL quality still available and I started to consider looking at the DB situation with the view to strengthening the OL in the following rounds. But, the disappointment associated with missing out on Cann was something I didn't want to face again as I approached my pick in the 3rd so, with the 41 pick in the ROD Post FA Mock Draft, the ST Louis Rams select:

Laken Tomlinson OG Duke

A high IQ type. Has ability to pick up twists and extra rushers. Excellent lower body strength that he uses to drive block in the run game. He is not an easy player to put on his heels and rarely goes backwards. Quick enough in the set-up and plays with aggressive hands off the snap. Won't be a superstar, but will provide solid line play for years to come. Let's face it, that is a massive step up from what we've had recently!!

Have at it guys. There was a CB I was looking at here. I don't actually think this is the way Snisher will go - 2 OL picks in rd 1 & 2 - but this is my view of the world.

I really like this pick. You fixed our o line. What corner were you looking at? There's still a few solid ones out there like Jalen Collins, PJ Williams and Eric Rowe even.

Really like Eric Rowe. I picked him in the 4th rd in our pre FA Mock. I think he can play FS as well. Rollins is another that piqued my interest.

Sorry Alan, I tried to get as pretty as your updates but I guess it doesn't work too well on an IPhone!! :) My time for Warner4prez to lodge his pick was only slightly out also. Obviously didn't do the conversion from the Australian timezone to USA EST very well.
