Ok, without further ado, the Tennessee Titans fix their pass rushing deficiencies and get to opposing QBs by selecting:

Eli Harold, OLB, Virginia

Harold is a high-end athlete, which I expected to go in the first has tons of athleticism and upside, although still raw, he's got the potential to develop into an impact edge rusher, Dick LeBeau finally has a toy to play with. Harold has lined up at DE and OLB in Virginia's 3-4 scheme. The guy's motor is unstoppable, and has a personal story that will make sure he succeeds. Love this quote by him, "I just want to show the world that I can do more than just having my hand down."

He's raw and needs to bulk up but he's got the frame to do it.

@Boston Ram - you're on the clock ;)

I think that's a good pick @shaunpinney but I just have to know which pundit made this remark about him "which I expected to go in the first". Got to be Mayock, right? I swear, every year that dude "has first round grades" on 50 - 60 players.

I was the one saying that I thought he'd go in the first, but I've read McShay, Daniel Jeremiah, Brugler, Prisco, Brinson and Charles Davis rank him as a R1 pick, not read much of Mayock this year ;)

shaunpinney missing a good thing:

I like Cosell and Mayock quite a bit. I must admit though that since Mayock got his regular gig on TV he isn't quite as good as he was before. Probably doesn't have as much time to look at tape. He's still quite good IMO.

Stel: Oh, hi Mr. Davis. You surprised me.
Undead Al: Did you pick yet?
Stel: No, was about to do so. Your timing was, er, impeccable.
Undead Al: Good. Take the fast one.
Stel: Excuse me?
Undead Al: Take the fast one. You know, the guy who ran the fastest 40.
Stel: But sir, we have other needs. Speed isn't the the most important criteria.
Undead Al: You're right. Speed isn't the most important criteria. It is the ONLY criteria.
Stel: But Mr. Davis . . .
Undead Al: Who is the fastest guy on the board?
Stel: I think it is J.J. Nelson, a wide receiver from UAB. He ran a 4.28.
Undead Al: Take him.
Stel: But sir, he is a late round prospect.
Undead Al: Take him.
Stel: But we took a fast wide receiver in the first round. We don't need another one.
Undead Al: Oh. Who is the next fastest that isn't a wide receiver?
Stel: Justin Cox, a defensive back out of Mississippi State.
Undead Al: Take him.
Stel: But he's a day three prospect. And we have other needs.
Undead Al: Take him. I'm tired. I'll be back later.
Stel: Yes sir Mr. Davis.

Undead Al fades away . . . . . .

Stel: Oh, my.

In the absence of Undead Al, with the 35th pick, the Oakland Raiders take D. J. Humphries, Olympic speedster and Offensive Tackle, Florida.

@Barrison is on the clock.

I've not caught any Cosell this year, apart from an article where he pulls Leonard Williams apart and calls Dante Fowler a better prospect than him - maybe Manock spends too much time in hair and make-up ;)

I was toying with an OT, but we're signing Barksdale from the Rams this week to fill our RT spot ;)
