I am one that wanted Lirim over Sloman, but I definitely do not root against him on Gamedays. Would love hi, to prove me wrong.
Who said anything about gameday?
I surely didnt support Fisher, Spagnolo or Linehan at the end of their tenure, but I rooted for the team on gameday

The first 3 look about right...

Anchrum (72) 6’2”
Havenstein (79) 6’8”
Sloman (1) 5’8”

But these guys must be closer to the camera, or something... as they appear as tall as Havenstein.

Edwards (73) 6’6”
Mundt (82) 6’4”

I preferred Lirim or Maginnis only because I favor experience with kickers. I get they all start somewhere but if the team is competitive and a kick could mean a playoff spot then give me the veteran.

But I still root for every point to be made regardless who makes it

Just saw an article that coined the term "Rodrigo Clankenship" for his tendency to hit the uprights... That is one brutal nickname for a rookie kicker. :ROFLMAO:
12/14. The best of conversion ratios? No, But I’ll take that over a Wideman! Lol

But in all seriousness I hope they have Sloman work on the low trajectory of his kicks. He’s young so think he has potential to adjust some.

That's my take. Lirim had experience, great stats, the distance.. not a rookie that needs time to grow, when we're primed for a playoff run.

Lirim has 0 NFL experience, same as Sloman. I dont think CFL is even comparable to D1 NCAA

But Blakenship doesnt have the leg for kickoffs? They prefer Sanchez and his 45.8 conversion rate?

???

Sanchez is the punter. Maybe looking at his avg yards per punt number.

Sanchez kicks off, not Blankenship. Only converted 45.8% of kickoffs for touchbacks. Only 11 of 24. Blankenship is 0 for 1
Sloman on the other hand gets criticized for "only" getting touchbacks on 63.6% (14 for 22)

Cool. Maybe I’m missing something, did you mean to quote someone else talking about kick offs? Lol

No, I meant to quote you. You're banging the drum for Blankenship but if the team doesnt have him doing kickoffs its not an indication that hes got sufficient leg strength. And if you've followed the thread, Sloman has been bashed for his KO conversion rate
