Having a veteran line isn’t the worst thing, I guess.

Yea like look at the list so many good ones. Even for injuries sake or to mentor some of the younger guys along with big wit. If I see Stafford getting his ass kicked this year that will piss me off more than anything.

OP looked good on stage maybe they can bring him back in a pinch.

Seriously after watching Slater and OP I’m spoiled for LTs. Whit is good but not what he used to be and no one on the roster after him is going to get HOF consideration.

At some point they need to invest there again. Thinking they can just get by while throwing away the few pucks they’ve got on picks like Tutu will not be a long term answer.

I want to be wrong but since they didn’t spend any draft capital on OL this year and with the people they stand to lose next year I think this will be a problem soon.

Jackie Slater was a Right Tackle.

Agree that Pace looked like he could still play.

Evans may be better at Guard than RT.... but I'd like to see what Anchrum can do as well.

Gotta say Corbett has sure had a career rebirth with the Rams... He's an upgrade at Center for us over blythe, and we have options for that guard spot. I like seeing position battles with preseason games.

Not a fan of Evans yet, not starting at RG. I'll be happier if it's Anchrum or Brewer, but I reserve the right to change my mind following the pre-season games. jmo.

You might not see a lot of Evans or Noteboom during the preseason if at all.

Well Corbett will be Staffords guy. Brian Allen & Coleman will be getting those preseason reps with Brewer & Demby upfront.

I am disappointed that they didn’t take one of the higher rated Centers or Guards. I’d have been very happy with a guy like Kendrick Green.

But the toughest part to swallow is using their first pick on a guy who is smaller than me. He better be amazingly fast because he literally will be running to save his career on every play. There is so much risk to that pick.

If not for Atwell’s size the lack of any Olinemen being drafted is a much easier pill to swallow.

When DeSean was drafted he was measured at 5'9 / 165lbs at the combine. Tutu is 5'9/ 160lbs right now so its pretty much identical. Yes he's small, but he's electric not only with the ball in his hands but down the field deep. His hands are impressive too he makes a lot of catches in traffic which surprised me given his size. I think with NFL weight training and a professional nutrition program he should be closer to 170lbs by season start.

It seems the fad in 2021 is itty bitty guys fast Swiss Army knives in the NFCW.

We picked up ours right after AZ and SEA smh. I guess it’s like anything, “whaaaat? Kingsbury got one? Cheat to?? No way! I want one now!!”

.

i think it's obvious mcvay and snead blamed all the oline woes on goff.

i've never seen a hc and gm throw their qb under the bus so willingly as they did once the season was over.

they both think once stafford is behind centre everything will work itself out.

Nah, I think they believe they have a young up and coming OL that needed help at C and this yr they will move a guy, who they believe is a little more stout and more suitable, to C because they feel they can replace him with some of the young depth they have at OG.

So with some tweaks they must feel they can upgrade that OL with the guys they have developed the last two yrs.

It’s puzzling to think Mcvay could watch Evans performance last year vs Green Bay and conclude he would make a great starting guard for us.

It’s like a repeat of the overconfidence they had in Noteboom at guard last year.

Maybe Anchrum or Shelton can win the job.

Evans pass blocking will be a massive liability, unless he was visited by the magic blocking fairy in the offseason.

Well you might be right. How things playout I can’t tell you.

What I knew & have known & said repeatedly up until now is The Rams have more depth than they have ever had since Mcvay got here.

There were basically 2 players I liked in 2021 draft upfront on offense.

#1 Landon Dickerson— a better reason why was because of his injury he could have redshirted in 2021.Maybe even got some preseason reps & then pup him.

# Quinn M. Didn’t even know his spell of his name. Was never much of a Humpries fan.
There you go. I’ll continue to say it as well.,but I always pick a player I like at need or a can’t miss talent each year who fits the biggest need.Dickerson was that guy.I know a guy like Johnathan Taylor last year was my guy.D.Cook a few years ago as well.Akers was a good find & the RB class was deep.Made it easier to release Todd Gurley.

Bobby Evans ? I don’t know about his reps ? Anchrum for sure has to compete just to make the squad. He has special teams talent though.Coleman Will get cut.

Because Jared Goff should be untouched & never move his feet in the pocket. Oh and Bobby Evans against Seattle played bad as well.
Ask Aaron Donald about the personnel foul & why were The Rams only a TD away from the 3rd qrt.
By the way Crap Evaluation when you think a 23 year old RT is starting his only games at guard during the Playoffs on the road stinks. —Nice

The Rams offense was top 10 in the NFL. Jared Goff to me never had good pocket presence & was weak running out of the pocket.

I know Detroit got Jared possibly The Best OT in the draft & have an excellent Center. Those players will only make him better.
Jared Goff was playing with a broken Thumb & The Rams went 1-1 with a chance to beat GB.I LIKE JARED Goff,he is a winner. He competes and wants to win.He holds himself accountable.
The Rams 2021 Offensive Line is deep, finding out what 2022 is different? I’m sure anybody that wants to say The Rams offensive line sucks must know you want to mature this group of players ?
