It's not that I don't like MM, I think he could turn out to be the best QB in this draft if he's put in the right system. If not it's going to take a couple years. The question is will the coaches give him the time and tailor the offense to him.?

I dont think the Pats had one, they seemingly had a spare parts crew. Seahawks had Golden Taint playing like one when they one. The NY Giants had Hakeem Nicks prior to his injury and Plaxico Burress prior to him shooting himself
I guess you need to define what you consider a #1 WR to be. Because every team has one, and one team has won the SB each year. Lol

They are nowhere near done with Eli. On top of it, they are very high on Ryan Nassib, so I dont see any way the Giants are a threat here. And I couldnt see them trading with Philly either. Chicago is bigger threat IMO

Seems like there were 2 diff conversations going on re: a #1 WR. (1 ) was a teams top wr option - which, by defenition, every team has. (2) was a true #1 type wr, which very few teams have - and no - Nicks is not (although he was much closer back then)

It started bc Jax took Cooper here because they "lacked" a true #1 type WR which led me to believe we were talking about (2).

I think it's a decent pick. Addressing those lines is exactly what Atlanta needs. Maybe a little high, but if you can't trade down, bite the bullet and make the safe pick at an area of need.
