Damn. That's very unfortunate. Mundt is a solid blocker and underrated special teams.

Next man up.

It's unfortunate news , but you're right -- one soldier goes down another soldier takes his place -- harsh reality of attempting to win a SB !

Edit ~ having said that I hope its not too bad and he gets back asap.

Harris nor Hopkins are even close to the blocker Mundt is. Blanton coming up from the PS to take Mundt's place ..he's going to be in line to be active right away to give us a blocking TE.

No idea if he gets activated, but I’d bet Hopkins gets the snaps.

It's weird when the starter is basically the only guy on the roster capable of doing his back-ups job...

I thought that stadium was new enough not to have a shitty field anymore. They totally demolished the old Giants Stadium, no?
I googled to see what they were talking about.. guess there were some complaints early last season, but the NFL took a close look and found no issues.
Some people questioned the field.. others questioned the shortened offseason after some early-season injuries there.

Yeah might just be paranoid but there have been a lot of injuries on it of the knee/ankle variety. Giants being the worse hit by it. The Whiners had a massacre on it last season too. Might just be bad luck i don't know but it's enough of an issue that I don't want my team playing on it just in case.

I think the Giants are just unlucky.. I mean.. did you see how ridiculous Saquon's injury was last week at Dallas? Nuts.

Yes I was scared to death for this game only because of that field.

The only worse field imho is FedEx Field where the WFT plays.

That field is almost as bad as that field was in Mexico City after that Shakira concert...

We'll be fine. The Harris era is about to begin MFers.

I felt about the same when we played at the Edward Jones Dome. A thin carpet on top of a very hard surface, ... even the sidelines were dangerous and brought on a lawsuit if I remember correctly.
