For some reason, from a post years ago, I thought you were a flight attendant for SWA. I guess I screwed that up back then.
Don't take it too hard, reading and/or comprehension is not your thing tonight, haha.

On the bright side for the 9ers, Shanny didn't blow a 10-point fourth quarter lead.
It was a blown 8-point half-time lead.
Progress!

I think it was a post you did talking about your view from a flight of SOFI why it was still under construction. I guess I assumed you were a flight attendant with time to check it out.

I don't know. I'm frequently a stupid person.

I think it's really cool that you are a pilot. I wanted to be one growing up, until I actually flew in a plane and was scared shitless...lol.
The pilot thing is certainly not for everyone. It has its thing.

As you have seen, I too am a frequently stupid person. I try and keep that out of work. :)

The Sofi pics were carefully performed only when possible. Which was very often. One of my career highlights. Timing in life is everything.

In my world I take that as a compliment.

I will be sleeping with a flight attendant tonight. She is pretty hot. Can't figure out why she has been hanging out with me for almost 30 years now. :laugh1:
I love the Rams logo on the SW turbines (is it just me) We fly SW out of Burbank a bit and My son Fly's from Burbank to SJ and vice versa several times a year. Safe travels brother

All I now want tonight is Purdy to break that fragile Whiner bank.

Will this be the new anti goff mantra?

Used to be he can't win without Mcvay. Now it will be he can't win without Johnson.

.
LOL. What????

This is a sober analysis of the Lions roster. It’s the best offensive line in football. It’s the best running game in football. They’ve got top talent at WR and TE. Their OC is literally turning down head coaching gigs. I know some Rams fans have a sentimental attachment to Goff but to act like he’s an MVP caliber player is freaking INSANE. He’s in the same class as Hurts and Purdy. Good enough to take advantage and play well when he’s got talent surrounding him, but with a league average roster he’d be a league average QB….at best.

Always appreciate the business.

The newest branding is attractive to me. Maybe they listened to all my letters. :laugh1:

Goff is on the Lions. Is it him, the other offensive weapons or combo that makes them a top 3 offensive team. That’s debatable. What’s not debatable is Goff is considered a top 5 NFL MVP this year. love him. Hate him. Doesn’t matter. Remove the emotion and inject logic and that’s where Goff is…this year.

I’m not emotional about this. Rams fans that have a sentimental feeling about Goff are the ones that are emotional.

If Baker Mayfield was playing QB for the Lions this year, they would be in the EXACT same spot. Insert Brock Purdy, Sam Darnold, CJ Stroud, Jordan Love, Dak Prescott, or any other QB that falls in that 10-15 range and the Lions would be in the exact same spot.

You are not alone in these thoughts.

Martz was a system OC. I remember a QB named Smoker going in and doing well with his system. No audibles. And why we lost the 2001 SB. Easy to take videos and cheat with the walk-thrus.

But I digress.

He's not top tier but I would put him on the high end of second tier.

He is possibly the most accurate QB on 15 to 20 yard throws in the league.

But he is not a Josh Allen or Mahomes. And until Lamar wins in the playoffs, Goff is better.

And I guess when Goff took us to the superbowl in 2018, it was all offensive line wrs and running backs - especially in the NO game.

You can't dispute Goff's accuracy....among the best in the league if not the best.

He is in a perfect situation for sure, especially for his skill set. And yes, other QB's would do well in that same role, but his accuracy just makes that offense absolutely special.

Having said that, he would certainly struggle playing on a team with an average OL that allows more pressure and hurries, especially if he had to carry that offense due to a poor running game. In that environment his effectiveness will decline significantly.
