Mannion briefly backed up Goff. And Perkins was an O'Connell project. Wentz and Warford were just in-season back up pick ups.I hear a lot about McVay being a quarterback whisperer, but what is it based on?
Stafford was already a top passer before he came to the Rams. He just needed a team around him. And he did okay with Goff, but I don't think he got Goff playing above the level he's playing at now.
Mannion is out of the league. Perkins is out of the league. And Wentz and Walford are hardly top-tier QBs. And then there is Stetson Bennett.
I know he turned around Mayfield, somewhat, kinda, but am I missing something here? I probably am.
With all due respect if Mike LaFleur picks Ty Simpson at 3, he'll be looking for a job in two years. Now I would not be shocked if LaFleur goes Jeremiyah Love there. If he comes in at his listed height or taller and about 215 lbs. at the combine his stock just might shoot up high enough to intrigue LaFleur in Arizona if they don't sign a veteran. Or maybe even Miami at #11.
Talen Green throws really well moving to his left and on the move ..... and for having a strong arm he has a pretty nice touch, but I'm not so sure about those 25 yard out patterns that McVay likes, and I think he would drive McVay nuts with all the scrambling. But having a mobile QB opens up another avenue in the red zone.I don't love any of the QB's in the positions they are projected, as previously stated
Simpson will likely get pushed the board due to being the #2 by most pundits. Nuss, Allar, Beck all have issues. This QB draft likely play's against us.
If I am going to grab a project (a big one) it's Talen Green, especially if you can do it with a 5th, although he may get pushed up higher after the combine.
6'6" has had some really big games of 300 & 400 yards can run, has 4.4 and reaches almost 23mph, He is a freak athlete, but is super raw with a lot of concerns but this class isn't looking favorable to us IMO
That might happen no matter the selection. With all due respect if Mike LaFleur picks Ty Simpson at 3, he'll be looking for a job in two years. Now I would not be shocked if LaFleur goes Jeremiyah Love there.
If LaFleur is as smart as we think he is he'll go Mauigoa at 3.With all due respect if Mike LaFleur picks Ty Simpson at 3, he'll be looking for a job in two years. Now I would not be shocked if LaFleur goes Jeremiyah Love there.
How did that kid get so big in college.... He's a monsterIf LaFleur is as smart as we think he is he'll go Mauigoa at 3.
Why in the hell would we trade up to #1? Even more unlikely is the Raiders trading out of #1.I'm still hoping the Rams pull a rabbit out of their hat and get the #1 pick
I have a great one, but you keep doing you and you'll be gone soon enough.Get a life putz![]()

As soon as I hit enter I regretted it.

I doubt that..... folks like you need something to bitch about. As soon as I hit enter I regretted it.
Now ... What did you advise me just about 14 hours ago ...Why in the hell would we trade up to #1? Even more unlikely is the Raiders trading out of #1.
Well ... maybe in his Alternate Universe, the Raiders will throw-in Bowers!Because a team that has Jeanty at RB and Bowers at TE want Corum and Parkinson. Lol. Keep on trolling!!
So, Rams were in a good position to get a top rated QB in this upcomng draft since they have the two #1 draft pics to work with. Apparently, there is not really a top QB worthy other than Mendoza, who's going to the Raiders.
Now what? Should Rams look to draft a QB in the following draft in 2027 instead? If yes, then shouldn't the Rams do something to end up with two #1 picks in 2027 as they have now for 2026. I am afraid if we don't have two #1 picks in 2027, and win the Super Bowl this coming season, we are not going to have a shot a getting that stud QB this draft or next. The Rams may be doomed if it goes that way.
Maybe signing a free agent qb or trading for a QB is the way the Rams will have to deal with post-Stafford.
Rams need a top-rated QB after Stafford. It's the majority of the Super Bowl winners...they have that top QB (Mahomes, Brady, etc.).
