So we have a story that's been out there re: Stafford wanting more guaranteed money in his final two years. Rams didn't give it to him. Not sure where this is going, but I have a feeling there may be a little drama before it gets settled.

But there were rumors last year about this iirc. And since the title his regular season play has been up and down. So I think his playoff performance cements things, but I will feel a lot better once this is done.

I've got some big-time Daniels envy. Man I wish we had that guy. So the chips fell where they did and the Skins grabbed him. If it ain't gonna be Stafford we need a cool as ice mobile QB back there. Daniels is looking generational though. He has so much talent AND confidence. And as happy as I was with Kupp over the years I will be happy with Whit starting next year.

Yeah if the QB market were different, I could see the Rams taking a peak. And likewise if there were a team with deep playoff/Super Bowl potential that was just missing a QB, I could see Stafford taking a look. But I don’t think either of those are out there. I think the Rams need Stafford and he needs the Rams.

I also just can’t imagine Stafford wanting to go to a brand new team at his age. I’d be shocked if he isn’t with the Rams. If he’s not, what the hell would we even do?

Seems certain that the Rams will get this done. But until it's done it's going to be an inevitable topic of conversation, along with whether he will retire.

I just don't see where the Rams go if they don't sign Stafford. There is no other option available that could take this team to the SB and win. I think they need this resolved kind of quick if they want to win it all. This can't be dragging out to training camp.

They need to do everything they can to get him back for one more year. He's still got it.

I'm not worried about it, they'll get a deal done. Staff wants to get into the Hall of Fame and playing under McVay for a couple more years might get him that guarantee. If he leaves the Rams and goes to a QB needy team, shit could go south for Stafford real quick. We'll get a deal done and he'll retire a Ram and future HoF'er.

Dart's projected to be a 3rd round pick, 2nd at the highest. Nix was 1st round talent.

It's not the same.

On the OL, Limmer may improve since he is a rookie.

Also, they have Jonah Jackson for competition. I can see them trying that experiment again with a whole off-season to do it. They pulled the plug quickly because we were in the middle of the season trying to win.

Stafford doesn't want to stop playing and there are no good QBs coming out of college this year. Pay him what he wants and find him a good RB and center and right and left guards. And a TE that can stay healthy.
