It’s simple to me. Stafford has to come back. He just wants guaranteed money and the rams should give it to him, but he has to know that he can’t take max money as it hurts the team. So a 2 yr 90 mil or 3 yr 120 mil all guaranteed. Then you use the savings to get another TE to complement Higs and a legit MLB and maybe swing T in FA and the draft BPA with all the picks.

Stafford is a difference maker.

For Kupp it’s the same thing all guaranteed but a lower cap hit for 2 yrs.

It had nothing in it. Not even what you retorted with when you got all butthurt and came back with that “chief” crap. Then you just keep doubling down. Just Shtap already. It only became a thing because you insisted on making it one.

If it wasn't news to you then move on instead feeling the need to call me out for some reason.

Otherwise, do both of us a favor and mute me then so I don't offend you with old news again. Okay?

Stafford wants to play and get paid.
I wonder if the knows the Rams decision.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but the Rams could possibly get a former McVay pupil in Kirk Cousins for a season and pay him peanuts as Atlanta covers his expenses the way Denver paid Russell Wilson to play in Pittsburgh this year.
God no.

Way to let it go. You just can’t help yourself.

I don’t mute anyone or put anyone on ignore for what should be obvious reasons.

How about you not get butt hurt if someone questions your assertions like “here’s some news” or whatever it was you said. Especially when it’s true that there really was nothing new (y’know… “NEWS“) in the article you posted.

Are you letting it go? Seems like you are the one that has to keep commenting, just like feeling the need to complain that it wasn't news to you. If you see a post and you feel you didn't learn anything, then move on, maybe someone else may have learned something.

Yeah. We have to disagree on this one. I still say that we just don't know. The team isn't in a vacuum and just because the team may want someone doesn't guarantee that they can get him for their price. A deal not getting done doesn't mean there isn't interest.

Prior to signing Garappolo the team attempted to trade for Sam Howell. If that news didn't get out it seems you would suggest that the Rams had no interest. Contrary to what may be popular belief I have my doubts that everything this organization is doing or attempts gets out. Again we just don't know.
Maybe if we had an interest in Wilson then, it would have gotten out?

Maybe. Maybe not. That's my point. We don't know. Outside of LaFleur's comment regarding being open to working with him again we got nothing.
Kourdan last year was scaring Rams Fans. The Truth is she had a point.I think Kupp helped ,but it was Mcvay that had to close the deal.
Mattew Stafford came close to ,or at the very least had The Rams F’d.
His contract was not guaranteed?? However that was Mcvay was worried after OTS’s & day before Training Camp there were issues.

IMO that’s what Sean Mcvay meant to knowing sooner than later.Going into 2025 Sean Mcvay is going to want to know 100%.

In fact it might be sooner than that ? He has Mike Lafleur & the coaching staff back. They don’t go to INDY just to get ahead on the playbook.Knowing who is going to be your QB, I WOULD think is important ?

Kelly & those rumors of his head issues from getting sacked so much(T y Bobby Evan’s) that he was going to retire. Then in 2023 he had a solid season.IMO just like this year, that season The Rams almost won it all ? When you come within a TD & the ball ?? -Look at Allen yesterday(loser).
I’d say The Rams have been in good hands with Mattew !

Mostly draft prep talk and "coach speak" with no real info just cookie crumbs.

Not an uncovered easter egg or anything, but he did make it clear that Stafford is under contract with the Rams for a couple more seasons, that point seems to get missed amongst some of these conversations. Snead almost had an edge when talking about it.
Stafford has built up a "Good guy" persona in LA, I dont see him wanting to trash that by holding out, demanding a trade etc.

Hear me put, Im just spit balling so don't shoot me just for saying it.....I wonder if the Rams are somewhat considering the possibility of trading Stafford if he wants too much money so they can have a shot at Arch Manning or some other QB from that draft class? Not saying they won't try to get a QB now or that they shouldn't do everything in their power to re-sign Stafford which is what myself and everyone here wants by the way.

Manning isn't until next year, and they're not trading him this year and rolling with a mid at QB this window open.

Trust me, I truly believe we'll find a way to sign Stafford. Just throwing the other shitty possibility out there on what the plan may be if it goes to shit. Tha free agency and trade market is shit this year for QBs. No real solid options at all from what I see.
