Was the quarterback playing with a broken thumb the reason we lost to the Packers? If the answer the front office came up with is yes, let’s trade him and picks, the future looks rocky.

Im not mad

there. I said it.

I have things to say about the player we traded, but dont want to incite a riot and I am a fan of Goff so wont kick him in his way out.

I’ll will say however, that the Rams are now Super Bowl bound. YES- this player swap makes that big of a difference.

If this doesn’t work out and we miss the playoffs in Stafford’s tenure the. Mcvay and Snead need to go .. and good luck getting a decent HC in again .. because we have zero 1st rounders to take a new qb when Matty retires

With a face that fat I feel like Stafford really needs some porkchops. I'm thinkin like...

Man, that video got me hyped. Loving the optimism your bringing right now man.

Ain't that the damn truth haha

Thanks christ. Here I was thinking we were gonna have like 30 Goff threads this season. Glad it's over TBH

Wow, that perspective though...wow

We can keep going in on Bonamego, I don't mind haha

I would rather forget Bonermego.

I have to be honest, I nearly quit rooting for this team when they threw Kurt away like garbage. (And throwing Ike away didn't help either.) But I kept rooting for the Rams (while also rooting for Kurt) as they ineptly ruined Bulger's career and continued losing. This wounds me so deeply because it finally felt like we had a bright future and could contend for a long time. Instead, this move feels too much like the KW break-up and almost desperation to go all in on the next few years with a QB I don't think can bring us a championship. I was so optimistic about our future, and this trade gutted me.

I need to think on things and assess where I stand. I don't want to make a rash decision. But I am with you on hating this trade.

Goff has also not lost a game when leading at half in 4 years ...funny that

So we are just playing an opinion game of "Who credits who"?

In Goff's time here I only need to see him before McVay and after to know where to go with credit.

Am I wrong (Please tell me that I am!) being concerned about Stanford’s AGE (As old as I am it seems funny saying that 33/If that is his age is an Age Issue!) & HEALTH ISSUES? I wouldn’t be nearly as concerned about those issues if the Rams didn’t give up so much to get Stafford!

And, How ticked off is Ramsey going to be that the Rams could not pull off a trade for his friend Watson? I wonder how hard or even if they tried to trade for him?!

.

can someone please help me out here. why are people calling this a salary dump? they're paying stafford $43m the next 2 seasons and by trading goff away they got rid of his $43m in guaranteed money.

so the net gain is zero.

it's actually worse because they accelerated the bonus cap hit to this season.

so in essence they only traded goff away because mcvay was done with him.

i still can't believe they gave away 2 1sts as well.

nobody will convince me stafford is 2 1st round picks better than goff.

ah well, it is what it is. hopefully i feel better by the time next season starts because i get no joy from this trade today.
