Wow, this is truly awesome. Deserves its own thread IMHO.
I’ll be Looking at some of this stuff during the long offseason. I’ll be high on Kool-Aid soon enough.
First one I watched was “RIIIIILLLLEEEYYYYY!!” Hilarious! And awfully inspiring.
I have been a Rams fan for 52 years. I have seen a lot of crap go on, but I was never more pissed off with the way they treated Warner. He was the best thing that happened to this franchise in a long time and they treated him like shit.I have to be honest, I nearly quit rooting for this team when they threw Kurt away like garbage. (And throwing Ike away didn't help either.) But I kept rooting for the Rams (while also rooting for Kurt) as they ineptly ruined Bulger's career and continued losing. This wounds me so deeply because it finally felt like we had a bright future and could contend for a long time. Instead, this move feels too much like the KW break-up and almost desperation to go all in on the next few years with a QB I don't think can bring us a championship. I was so optimistic about our future, and this trade gutted me.
I need to think on things and assess where I stand. I don't want to make a rash decision. But I am with you on hating this trade.
You mean the 7 games under that offensive genius Jeff fisher with rob boras as his OC .. yea rightSo we are just playing an opinion game of "Who credits who"?
In Goff's time here I only need to see him before McVay and after to know where to go with credit.
This was the exact comment I was going to make.People with their heart set on this being a bad trade won’t be talked into believing otherwise. This trade was 1. To get out of the Goff contract and 2. For Stafford.
McVay didn’t believe he was going to win a Super Bowl with Goff so the trade was made to get out of his contract first and foremost. The second first round pick and this years third was to get Stafford. That’s not a significant price to pay for a QB of his calibre.
Stafford doesn’t need to win it all for this to be “the right decision.” It was the right decision because we were able to get out from under Goff AND replace him with a better player. But people are going to argue this to death but in the end the head coach and GM made a decision they get paid to make. All these armchair GMs acting like they know better should apply for the real gig with an NFL front office if they’re so damn confident.
Did you get 9? Because Wolford will never give that shit up.<—— Buys Matt Stafford Jersey
What else can I say? Its brilliant and I called it all along.

GOODBYE GOFF YOU OVERRATED SELF ENTITLED JACK ASS!!
Good, maybe we can do something in the playoffs now. I honestly thought we’d target Deshaun and didn’t expect Stafford with his age but hey I’ll take it!
GOFF HAD 38, thats 38 TURNOVERS THE LAST 2 SEASONS!! Absolute trash!
Guy didn’t even look past 15 yards down the field in the Pack game... smfh
Maybe you can learn which direction the sun rises in Detroit and how good you had it here!
On to a real QB named Matthew Stafford! Hell of a pick up, it’s time to win this division and pick up some Lombardis!
oh and Snead, a little heavy on the picks but I’m sure the dumb ass skins raised the price on us...

For those of you picking the corn out of Goff’s shit and eating it like it’s Cornnuts

Ummm, you have watched Goff play the last 2 years right? Saying he has been inconsistent would be an understatement. His neck up talent just wasn’t good enough for McVay. I am only surprised by how quickly this happened, and the cost.We should be the one getting picks. Like I said a couple of weeks ago, Goff was good when LeFleur was here.
Watch Goff light it up in Detroit, wouldn't that take the luster off the boy genius.
For the record, Dieter Brock got them to the NFC championship game against the future Super Bowl winning Bears.Exactly how long have you been waiting for this moment?
Am I wrong (Please tell me that I am!) being concerned about Stanford’s AGE (As old as I am it seems funny saying that 33/If that is his age is an Age Issue!) & HEALTH ISSUES? I wouldn’t be nearly as concerned about those issues if the Rams didn’t give up so much to get Stafford!
And, How ticked off is Ramsey going to be that the Rams could not pull off a trade for his friend Watson? I wonder how hard or even if they tried to trade for him?!
