middle of March , when the trade can actually take affect

actually , I have no clue ,

Feels like the Chefs are doing the walk of shame keeping it all quiet like this.

I’ll start the high low at a 3rd and a 7th this year.

Didn't see this mentioned:

Marcus Peters: "In 2014, was suspended one game after a sideline tirade during Eastern Washington game"
http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/marcus-peters?id=2552488

Cooper Kupp: "In 2014, he punked both Marcus Peters and Sidney Jones when he took on Washington."
http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/cooper-kupp?id=2557898

"Kupp dominated Washington’s defense in his sophomore season as he gained 145 yards on eight receptions. Furthermore, he had two receptions on two targets for 54 yards and two touchdowns against Marcus Peters — the NFL’s 2015 Defensive Rookie of the Year."
https://www.profootballfocus.com/ne...s-player-could-best-wide-receiver-cooper-kupp

Don't get me wrong, I like the move. But, I also like the idea of the Kupp-Peters dynamic in practice.

No but Tru will be. Niner !

Unfortunately, I think you're right. Here's hoping the Raiders find a way to snag him.

To be fair to Peters, Kupp punked everyone in college. But hey, he ran a 4.6 40 at the Combine. Who cares about what he does on a football field if he's not fast on a track?

Every Ram fan MUST watch this interview.

Too damn funny.

Here’s hoping that the high-character guys in McVay’s locker room help this kid grow up a bit. Or to put it in terms Peters can understand:

“Don’t act crazy stoopid no more, ya feel me?”

I think Marcus will learn his lesson if Whitworth pancakes him the first time he starts to act up. ;)

Funniest crap ever. If only all interviews were like this. “crap, I was hella weak this game, you feel me.” You got the fumble near the end of the game, how’d that make you feel? “That took my game from hella weak to weak, ya feel me, I’m just weak this week. I’ll get back on my crap next week”
Couldn’t understand—What the hell did he say at the end of the interview?? Anyone!?? Ya feel me???!

"I'm finna go get loaded."

Basically, I'm "fixing to" get loaded. One can only speculate as to how he gets loaded. Probably a few Zimas.

Peters is a fine CB--one of the AFC's better ones. He has a bit of a temper but McVay is great at making certain that players will control their anger in key situations. I read on the St. Louis P-D website that it's a done deal but I'm not certain how many draft picks the Rams must give up. In my mind, I hope the Rams keep The Mighty Quinn--still one of my favorite players. We let Chris Long go and I never liked that move at all. Quinn has some years left and he is still in his prime. But this, of course, is my opinion--and I ain't no expert. I just love the Rams.

Based on who's metric? According to NFL's Next Gen Stats Chandler Jones lead the league with 66 pressures, and he played over 400 more snaps than Quinn.

Also this....

Depends on the source. Some analytics have different stats. For example PFF gives Donald more credit on pressures then other's do. I get Quinn played less snaps then Donald. Still though from the eye test, no way should there be a .2 difference in pressure per plays between Quinn and Donald.

Obviously we'll agree to disagree. I just don't think Quinn is worth his current salary. Maybe Quinn restructures which would be ideal. But IMO outside pressure and stopping the run are this defense's biggest areas for improvement.

I'm not in love with Quinn's current contract, but I don't hate it if he plays like he did the back half of the season as opposed to the first half.

There was definitely an adjustment period for Quinn, but he dialed it up from week 12-16, where he had 6 sacks in that time. Week 17 doesn't count as he rested. Also had a sack in the wild card game.

What's shocking about Quinn is that he's still relatively young. 27 going on 28. He still has great speed and some of the best bend in the game.

The depth at the position is bad and we can't afford to ship him out if he is going to give us this production. Hopefully Ebukam is ready to replace Barwin as a starter. Might be looking at pass rusher in the first, which I honestly wouldn't mind.

We need to restructure Quinn’s deal but I’m dead set that his back injury really did a number on him. Took a bit and to learn the D this year but I think It started to come back into himself obviously.

Back injuries aren’t like other injuries. If when your healthy the recovery time is enormous and makes you tentative.

If the compensation doesn't involve next year's first I'll be shocked.

Chiefs were desperate to move him it sounds. Maybe we packaged a bunch of mid-round picks

Tavon Austin ? Andy likes those types of scat backs ? Heard they might like him , but not at that price.

—Sucks Tru is going to be gone when he is coming into his prime.

— getting Peters though is extremely exciting!! Dude can flat out ball.

—Isn’t Peters The Beast Modes nephew ? That was why he got kicked out for running onto the field ?

Pleasant is going to be in this Cats Head. He really is a hands on coach. Always talking & teaching.

Troy Hill really stepped up last year, & Hatfield & Kevin Petterson are nice young prospects.Webster doesn’t have to rush back, & by playoff time the unit will be set.

Never wanted to think The Rams could trade for Peters.I was last year thinking how good Peters would fit. He plays serious man coverage. He also brings that fire attitude.Plays a different style than Tru.
