Can you please stop being vague, and just tell us how you feel about the 49ers.

Trey Lance played a total of 19 games for a smaller school in a lesser conference. And started two games last season. I don't think anyone should be surprised if he isn't ready. I will really enjoy it if the whiners start experiencing buyer's remorse. No one really knows if this kid is legit or not. Kinda scary situation for a team with championship aspirations.
Not to mention they don't have the resources to pull of a trade if an elite quarterback becomes available. I sure am glad we pulled the trigger on Stafford. I think its obvious we now have one of those elite quarterbacks that are so hard to come by.
All QB's have bad games and decisions at times. Even Brady had his share of wtf throws and games. (Media doesn't put those in spotlighta.. Kinda sounds like OUR SB winning QB at times this season!!!
Well yeah that is simple math. Two Niner backups, Mullen and Beathard beat the Rams also. All I know is, Brady is a significant upgrade from Garrapolo, and Jimmy G was 6-1 against the Rams in his last seven games and went toe-to-toe with them in his last game. The math is pretty simple.
True, but his record against the Rams stands at 6-1. Lance is more athletic and has a better arm, but he holds the ball too long and I'm hoping from the neck up, he's worth a nickel.Garapolo didn’t beat the Rams as much as that team that the Rams don’t match up well against did.
Agreed. But they match up even worse with Brady under center instead of Jimmy G.Well yeah that is simple math. Two Niner backups, Mullen and Beathard beat the Rams also.
Garapolo didn’t beat the Rams as much as that team that the Rams don’t match up well against did.
And if he played on a bad team his record against the Rams would likely be 0-7. QB records versus certain teams is dumb. What’s Brady’s record against his entire lame division for most of his career. It’s a meaningless stat.True, but his record against the Rams stands at 6-1. They will have to give up something to Tampa to get him. I just don't think Tampa is in the mood to let him go to SF. Plus I still think Brady might be raw about SF not wanting him cause they got Gstring.Agreed. But they match up even worse with Brady under center instead of Jimmy G.
You may be right. And I hope you are. Everybody's just speculating at this point. They will have to give up something to Tampa to get him. I just don't think Tampa is in the mood to let him go to SF. Plus I still think Brady might be raw about SF not wanting him cause they got Gstring.
I agree and I guess we'll see how Garoppolo does with his next team, but I for one will be glad he's out of San Francisco. And if he played on a bad team his record against the Rams would likely be 0-7. QB records versus certain teams is dumb. What’s Brady’s record against his entire lame division for most of his career. It’s a meaningless stat.
I saw that too and I think there's probably something to it -- it definitely did sound coordinated. But we also know that if Lance were better than Jimmy G, he'd have been on the field a lot more this year.I’m a cynic too-part of my charm. So of course I love psy ops misinformation stuff like what Cowherd’s proposing at 3:14. I don’t think Lance is ready either, but this take is really interesting. Entertaining too.
But they're 1-6 against SF the last three years, and that's with Jimmy G at QB, not Tom Brady.Just saying - The Rams are 3-0 against Brady the last two years.
Yeah.Ready or not I think its his time.
He is a big guy, a great athlete and has a cannon arm. There is nothing to not like about his potential. He reportedly is very football smart and picked up Shanny's offense very quickly.
He could be a great match with Shanny.
Mixing in a run game with him, roll outs, run pass option plays and their misdirection game.....I could see a lot of big plays. But, he is raw. Reps, reps, reps is what he needs. Rep in the pocket as a passer is what he needs. That comes with a lot of bumps and bruises for a green QB.
My goodness, you're still going on about Brady and the whiners???But they're 1-6 against SF the last three years, and that's with Jimmy G at QB, not Tom Brady.
I'm responding to somebody who commented to me.My goodness, you're still going on about Brady and the whiners???
This thread does not bother me. Your relentless Tommy to the whiners speculation does, haha.... I'll get over it. Carry on.I'm responding to somebody who commented to me.
You're welcome to ignore this thread if it bothers you so much.
