McCullers is a rookie. But yeah. They claim it’s analytics. It's hard to believe.
I must have him confused with someone else, there was another guy who was terrible for the Mets, went to Houston and became really good

Granted I am Sox fan and incredibly disappointed by all this....but let’s not lose sight of something. We lived through the steroid era and which pretty much every team had a player on their roster that did steroids....taking steroids is cheating.

I am sorry for any fans that feel like they got cheated, mostly by the Sox, don’t give 2 craps about the Astros.

But the outrage is laughable as it is likely your team at one point had steroid users on the roster...

I will leave now
As am I. Sox didnt use any of the tactics in the post season as the reports are coming in. Astros are a whole other statosphere as there is actual evidence and alot of it. Im disappointed and am glad Cora is gone but they destroyed the Yankees both at home and on the road and the Dodgers were an error away from being swept. Im disappointed but lets not act like either of those teams would have somehow beat the Sox.

I always liked Cora, especially for this at bat

but given what he's done, he deserves to be gone.

This is the greatest at bat I have ever seen in my life.
Had he struck out, it still would have been.
I watched that game and that at bat will always be in my memory. Unbelievable

While I agree that Altuve has been a great player, his homerun to clinch the ALCS was an unlikely scenario without knowing the pitch. Altuve is a line drive hitter. He tomahawked a high slider. It was an uncharacteristic swing. It didn't look right. The pitch was meant to be where he doesn't hit well. Yet he perfectly adjusted his swing to meet the pitch.

Aaron Judge removed his tweet congratulating Altuve on his MVP. I'm glad he did. Good or not Altuve was using the information just like every player on that team. That's a team full of first round picks and top international free agents, yet they still cheated. Altuve is scum like the rest of them. It's a shame players are getting off the hook.
Fuck Altuve

Rumors are that’s not his niece. But that video of him telling them not to rip off his jersey then heading to the clubhouse while his team celebrates is interesting. He then comes out to party in a different shirt? And his agent says it’s just him being modest lol.

This is buuuuuuullshit.

These penalties are way to light.

Players need to be HAMMERED for this shit too.

Why isn't anyone being banned for life?????

This is WAAAAy worse the what Rose did.

This is a fuck job.

I don't follow MLB much, but this is a mess.

Yeah, basically fuck the MLB.

If you cheat and win a championship (cough fucking cough NFL) and that championship isn't stripped from you, all that you're telling teams is "Go ahead and cheat, if you win you'll be fine, sure we may give you a slap on the wrist and it may hurt you a little for a season or two, but you'll keep all the hardware and in 20 years nobody will remember anyway!"

No wonder teams don't stop.

Kind of funny this whole scandal comes on the heels of the report that MLB set a new league record for revenue at 10.7 billion in 2019

my guess is they dont get close to that number for the next few years now

I agree with you, this is going to hurt the fanbase. A lot of people are going to be turned off by the lack of severity.

Welp, this past week sucked here.

The only person who is happy this happened is Bill O'Brien. This really saved him for a huge ass chewing.

I agree, to a certain extend, except a lifelong of derision, and the label of a being a cheater are enough of a deterrent for many men.

It used to be enough for all.
