The segmented horns are growing on me. My only issue is the gap between the 2 different pieces. It should taper out as it gets further away.... it shouldn't be the same sized gap the whole way through. not sure if that makes sense.

it does, in the art world thats know as perspective. Its the same reason the 3D horn looks like dog shit on the 2D LA logo. The perspective of the start of the horn on the flat A makes it look wrong. The LA logo is the only egregious error in this rebrand to me.

I am tired of kidding myself....anyone else find these uni's a bit goofball?...I mean really.....I understand the Hollywood thing and all, but seriously, does any other team have as goofy a looking uni as the Rams? so "not serious" or intimidating.

Its the colors a kid reaches for first out of the crayon box....

That yellow...uggggh....

maybe the game has passed me by....what happened to testosterone and toughness?

The Disney-fication of the Rams....

To be honest, in 1981, I started watching the Rams because the colors looked cool and the Horns. If I was going for just tough, I guess I woulda went Raiders or Steelers, with black as a primary color. Thankfully, if a "tough" look was needed to win, neither the Patriots or 49ers would have won a championship, ever. So no matter what we think of the jerseys/colors, we can still win it all:biggrin:

I had this same thought, because it's true, they don't look as "mean" I guess, but I figure back then you and other kids thought that look was cool. As many people have stated when they were young they thought the Rams uniforms were cool, the colors were cool, they liked the horns, etc. There were probably older guys who didn't like the changes that were made, but you were young and didn't care, they were cool to you.

If it's true that young people like these more, and by all indications that seems to be true, then isn't that a sign they're doing the right thing?

Toxic masculinity is what the she’s call it. Remember LA is the epicenter of this shit. Let’s be friendly goats instead of someone going to bash you until you quit.

Yes, everyone younger than us...I wonder back in 73, if some of the fans were mad about the change from blue & white to Blue & Yellow? We loved it, but maybe the older fans didn't back then?

Good question! The Blue and whites were only in for what... 7-8 years? I know I LOVED the change, and IIRC my dad did too.

Harold Jackson, Cullen Bryant and Charlie Cowan take the field.

In those first few years, the whites always were paired with white shoes, while the blue uniform was paired with blue cleats. Very nice touch.

But they did not mess with the horns!!!
