After that SB 79. I was pissed. Went to a party that night got totally ripped made an arse of myself. Carried that over to some friends place where I made a complete arse of myself. Don't know how I got home. Still pissed.
I was only 13, so I kinda hid in my room, played some Pink Floyd on the turntable, and had a good cry.

I'm still pissed too.

I got to go to the NFC Championship against tampon with my Grandfather. He surprised me with that.

So what does my Grandmother do on the day of the Super Bowl... she makes me go to some lame deal at her church that wasn't even the normal service. The preachers wife felt so bad for me that she would run over to her house (right next to the church) and get me updates every 5 minutes or so. I missed the whole 1st half. We all know what happened in the 2nd half. I never let her live that down. NEVER.

So yeah... I'm STILL PISSED!

What I loved about my family especially my Grandmother's is they understood football ruled! My maternal Grandfather used to say: Football, God and the Pope in that order! Both Grandmother's no matter what house I visited worked feverishly to put dinner on the table by halftime and we would thank them as we rushed through dinner to get back for the 2nd half....Ahhh the good old days!

Now on Sunday in my house we eat after the Ram game and all the relatives understand not to bother us with a function from September until the holidays and all weddings during that time are still done on Saturday's. The thought of having a wedding on Sunday from September until spring is just sacrilegious for God Sake!

I'm game. I have no idea what I'd want but I"m sure those with a creative mind could help me out. I'm big time military if that helps.

Shoot. I should be thanking you.
I'm a big man, a tough man but a fair man. But I'm not ashamed to show my sensitive side. Your response just brought a tear to my eyes.

As you can see, I am proudly displaying my new Avatar.

Thank you again, X.

Just found it.
And since I was 13 years old, I only lost my favorite bean bag chair to my friend.
He was a Steelers fan and he put up his new Queen album (the one with all the nekkid chicks on bicycles on the inside).

If anyone could do Adam Archuleta wearing a kilt and swigging from a bottle of Scotch I'd be much obliged!

I'm getting a lot of likes for my new Avatar that -X- designed for me. He gets all the credit but I will still post it proudly.

For those that can't tell, the shield behind the Rams logo says "Duty Honor Country". That is the motto of the United States Military Academy, West Point. The cross rifles appear to be M-16 in nature, representing the infantry, the backbone of the US Army. Both the shield and the cross rifles are surrounded by olive branches, the symbol of peace. These are my interpretations and I feel they are more than accurate. Besides, it's my Avatar now and I can say what I want about it! (JK).

Of course the Rams logo in a camo pattern it what set's this over the top in my opinion.

Thanks to all for the likes and comments and again, as if beating the proverbial horse to death, thanks -X-.
