Not sorry to see Acuri cut. DJ, McClendon and Quesenberry are all better. Big upgrade for OL depth.
With AJack being able to start practice this week, the ol is going to have continuity with the best 5 out there.
Just saw that Texans starting RT will be out. (Stroud left handed) Big advantage for Rams.
This Ram team is stacked. Run D is going to be improved with Landman and Ford. Not worried about CB's, they gonna get burnt once or twice, but know how to cover.
Rams gonna go deep in playoffs if everyone stays healthy
And their starting left tackle is a 3rd round rookie. Our defensive line is gonna have fun the 1st week, and no Mixon.

Wow! So are you saying that 5 years from now he'll be the guy the collective board has mental anguish over?

But in all seriousness that's high praise. And it also tells me that they want intelligent players out there.
I think you’ve hit the nail on the head there - they want smart players out there. I think Reeder is really going to be depth/ST this season. Rams upgraded at LB by signing Landman.

The angst over Reeder continues to be one of the more annoying features of this forum.

Paul showed nothing special. He’s exactly the guy you put on the PS. He’s also the 3rd guy

Reeder is Landman’s backup.. he knows the D. That’s important.

Being able to male plays is as important as knowing the defense if not more important and Reeder doesn't make plays.

Deep fake garbage is for children. Let’s not lower our standards.

His ability to make a base level of plays and know his job is a known.

Paul is pure projection.

They’re developing 2 young LBs and brought in a guy who does what he does, but better.

Paul will, odds are, make it to a PS.

My guess is that it was Dolac over Paul. They probably were gonna just keep 4 ILBs and we already knew 3 were locks.
Well, yeah that too... if not for him, Paul makes it. However, it seemed obvious over the last week that Dolac was going to make it. So then it came down to 7 DL or 5 LBs.

Unless we make him a surprise pickup and deal one of our many tackles?

...C'mon, man, give me fucking hope. :p
Sorry, not gonna happen. He's a Trenton NJ kid and the Eagles were working him out at guard. They definitely have long term plans for him

Yeah. He knows his assignment. But can never actually make the play and this has been proven countless times.

A Troy Reeder tackle away from not sweating out the final seconds of the NFL divisional game.

I'm sad that Schroeder didn't make it and I'm sick to see Reeder on this team!
If they want him around make him a coach!

And getting the play in and having people lined up is important.

Again… Paul showed nothing… and Reeder is a backup.

Waaaaaay too much angst.

I agree that making plays is important. But if Reeder doesn't make plays, what explains the coaches keeping him on the roster year after year? Either they feel that knowing the defense is more important or they feel that he does make plays.
