Annual reminder that a) the coaching staff and front office see WAY MORE of these guys than we do and b) they've earned the benefit of the doubt at this time.

Plenty other FOs wouldn't cut bait with a 5th rounder from this year even if they knew they'd made a mistake. I personally value a group who are prepared to recognise a mistake and correct it.

Wishing those who were cut all the best and congrats to those who made the team!
Yep.

Also a tag along annual reminder that preseason snaps are 100% predictive. No one who sat out was cut.

I would have kept 5 Safeties (Ingle) and 6 DL - Murchison would have made it to the PS if they really needed him.
Agree, kinda. I would have sent the rookie Hamilton to the PS. He did not do much. He would have cleared waivers.

That’s the only swap out I would make:
Ingle for Hamilton.

Back when he wore 92 in the 2019 pre season I thought “get that guy off the fucking field”

And I still think that same thing, 6 years later. My mind is blown that Troy Reeder is once again a Ram. And I’m fully convinced we are the only reason he’s not working at McDonalds currently.

Truly amazing.

Anything in these cuts that tells us Jackson most likely ain't starting game one?

My guess is that it was Dolac over Paul. They probably were gonna just keep 4 ILBs and we already knew 3 were locks.
Did you see the quote from the inside linebackers coach about Dolac?

No.

More that the blot clot issue could return at any time ... McClendon is much better at Right Tackle, where Havenstein may miss a couple games ... it's wise to keep two veterans with Left Tackle experience in Humphries and Quessenberry ... Left Tackle is Really Important especially with Stafford's back which also may be a season-long-issue

Did you see the quote from the inside linebackers coach about Dolac?
Yeah ... it was nice

Came right after the quote that ... 'Reeder brings an experienced voice to the LB room' ... which made me crazy ... Does Reeder have to be on the 53-man-roster in order to be 'in the room'!!!

No I didn't. What did he say?
“He’s like a young Troy Reeder”.

No, seriously what he said is in the following “Dolac was the lone undrafted free agent signee from this year's group to make the initial 53-man roster. Inside linebackers coach Greg Williams told theRams.com this summer that Dolac "could teach you the defense right now," which speaks to how quickly he picked up the scheme.”

Wow! So are you saying that 5 years from now he'll be the guy the collective board has mental anguish over?

But in all seriousness that's high praise. And it also tells me that they want intelligent players out there.
