I for one am full on stoked for this movie, and the cast looks awesome...Dennis fricking Quaid...excellent!

For full known cast.

Looking forward to the ridiculously small details we'll all analyze. Stuff like, "I remember that play, and the D wasn't in a Cover Two!"Or, "They got Timmerman's jersey number wrong!"

Can't wait to see all the magic of '99 up on the big screen. Ricky's Catch, Ike's Catch, the Tackle... gonna be epic. Add the sweeping schmaltzy music, and I'm sure some of us will be choking back a tear or two.

For me, Heaven Can Wait had a big effect on solidifying my Rams Fandom when I was nine years old. Here's hoping this movie helps create a bunch of new Rams fans.

This surprises me a little.

In a prior thread you explained how you became a huge Rams' fan off the great Championship season of 1999.

The most magical part of that year was Kurt Warner.

You sir are "a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma".

I was a huge fan of that season. That made me become a Rams fan. And I did love Kurt, but, much like Albert Pujols, I never loved his wife. And unlike Albert, Kurt never really made his peace with the Rams. I see him as more of an Arizona Cardinal than anything else. Fuck that.

.

i wonder if they'll dramatise his last game starting for the rams against the giants?

trainer - coach we need to get him off the field, he's concussed
martz - he looks ok to me
trainer - he has the motor skills of zombie
martz - fuck him, he staying out there till the bitter end. now leave me alone, i need to study these 15 second developing plays i'm gonna call.

Blasphemy at its Finest!

As for the guy not being able to throw a football, um, he could just hire a QB coach before filming and work out for a couple weeks, and it would look good for the movie.
Yeah, Keanu hadn't played any football whatsoever, and they got him coached up enough to run plays while they filmed live game action during an NFL halftime.
