I read where that Davis was over 280 lbs when signed so by the time the regular season begins Davis might be more of a older polished nugget of Gold that Snead has found. The injuries to our top pass rushing LB draft pick of Og Okoronkwo & our most experienced OLB'er Matt Longacre have weakened our OLB'er cadre. That looks like the Rams #1 & #3 prospective OLB's......provides Ryan Davis a wonderful opportunity to cease his first time starting post after 7 season in the NFL.

Hard not to desire him to be successful after the long run through four NFL teams.

I liked the signing of a vet OLB...I saw he had a season wth 5 sacks so that is not bad...should do well in Wade's D, but was surprised by his size. So that makes sense in that he is overweight...but he has to get to his target weight, otherwise looks like a slow DE
