I was told he had a meeting, got fired, and security walked him out. No team meeting, nothing.

Frigid cold, he's a better coach than that.

Bitch ass Whiner fans already clamoring for him to come back. I hope he tells em to fuck off.
This is what concerns me since Blowsa was in the news complaining about their current DC. I'd rather see the whiners keep that guy and continue the losing.

No, but I think he gave Liam Cohen a gentle push back to Lexington and also quite sure he fired John Bonamego and Joe DeCamillis albeit both being of the special teams variety.
Yep. The McVay that we see on the podium and the guy in-house are probably a bit different. He certainly runs his coaches. And some of them end up with other jobs, which have been conveniently timed to not be called a firing.

Granted it is still very early for us. Playoffs will be very tough, but all members of this staff will be coaching for their jobs the rest of the way.

On a side note I will say that our DL coach hire, which was the only staff change I disliked, seems to have followed a trend seen the entirety of his career, which is shitty defenses. Not that I fully blame him. I don't think he has anything near ideal talent up front. But his job security will be tied with how well he can get Fiske developed in his run game production. Also the ILB coach was not handed an ideal situation but if we end up realizing at the end of the season that he was sticking with Reeder I do think I would fire him for that. And lastly as much as I like Pleasant he needs to unfuck this secondary.

Yeah - sure !! Easy to say though.Reality though ?At some point Reeder will be given a back seat for the younger players unless things change drastically.

It’s odd how Reeder gets much of the criticism when Rozeboom is by far the worse of the two.

Don’t get me wrong, they both need replacing but Rozeboom needs to go first.

Multiple sources reporting he was escorted out by head of security. Apparently hasn't happened in the NFL since 2009.

I'm sure we all remember Fisher getting to say goodbye to his players.

That is bush league dysfunctional by the Jets to oust a 3 plus year coach like he broke into the building.

Well who knows what happened. Maybe he got pissed when that axe dropped. Maybe the Jets owner told him they didn't want a coach who is more concerned with political statements than winning games and it upset him. No way to know. Jets owner is a fucking moron but he would be in his right to escort him out with security if he was throwing his weight around and F-bombs or whatever.

I’m not sure if it’s true or false. But NFL radio said that Rex Ryan was escorted out by security, when the Jets fired him.

Wouldn't surprise me. Rex is a mouthy bastard. Doubt he'd go quietly so an escort was probably a good call. :laugh3:

Possible landing spots for Saleh back in Frisco, Green Bay or Miami. We know he has connections to Shanny, LeFleur, and McDaniel.

I just wanted to say thank you for cherry picking the only part of my statement that wasn't relevant to the point I was making.

Spags has what, 5 or 6 superbowl rings as defensive coordinator? He'll probably go down as one the best in NFL history, but yeah he was a terrible HC. lol.
Spags could be a HOF coordinator when he retires.

Saleh is just the first, there are still 4, 5 or 6 more spots that will open up by January. Like that list I linked, Siriani and McCarthy gotta be top of the list. Saleh would fit great in Philly.

Amillas was let go Bonamego was and still might be paid by the Rams as an advisor while he goes through cancer recovery. So in all his years one ST coordinator. Now his good friend and college teammate who's done nothing wrong will be fired to satisfy the Lynch mob? Sorry don't see it.
