Signing him for the money he want imo is a mistake.
I think his expectations on salary will be affected by the Colts dangling him. He will get feedback from teams interested in trading for him. If all the offered deals are lower than he wants then he has to decide if he wants out of Indy or whether he wants to hold out for his imaginary number.

If he plays hardball then the Colts are dealing him with lesser value. So I am not sure his rumored demands won't change. And if they change to where the Rams are comfortable we might be in play.

He’s a young man talking about the Rams on the internet. Not sure why some people react so negatively to that
Because he acts like he has some type of special official Rams reporter insight.

Not sure why some people react so positively about that.

Assumptions and BS, nothing more.

I’d rather listen to the OldNotDead about everything Rams than listen to that jack ass.

In a heartbeat, (don't think they'd take it) - and I love me some Higbee! Even add a fourth.

And while I'm setting conditions: 5 year $50M, $35 guaranteed.

Just seems like in the Rams' history, whenever we were REALLY REALLY good, we had a great RB.

I can’t believe anyone who’s a Ram fan would be ok sending a 2nd round pick for him…let alone two 2nds. A RB who was injured and wants a big money contract. I’d rather keep that 2nd and get another Avila next year. Heck, a drafted RB in the 2nd next year might be better than Taylor.

Not to mention the salary. I’d rather save that money to secure a top notch young FA pass rusher in the off-season.

I’ve yet to see a need for a top RB with McVay anyway. Quite the opposite actually.

Would be a weird fit. Especially with this OL.
We haven’t drafted a prime RB since Gurley.
Everyone we’ve drafted since, isn’t worth writing home about.
Akers was a 2nd rnd pick.

I would love to have Taylor in Horns.
I would absolutely give up a 2nd for Taylor, provided he’s 100% healthy.

So the hold-up has been waiting until after we play each other before the trade is made ? LOL... I just made that up.

Come on. Their drugged out owner isn't gonna trade him... or any of his rock-and-roll memorabilia to anyone. Now I do believe he (referring to the dolts' pill popping owner) actually said something along those lines.

After TG30... I don't see our current football decision makers going after an "older" RB who is looking to get paid top dollar.
Are we able to trade for him before he gets off the PUP list? I would think that would be the hold up. He's off the PUP list next week. But if this is a move we make, we cannot trade a first round pick.

It's really hard to say if McVay trusts that Williams can carry the load. In the San Fran game we needed to pass more, just that kind of game. Against the Bengals it was more of wanting to get that early lead and being pass heavy. If we had converted after the Atwell end around and taken a lead then I think we would have run Williams and Rivers quite a bit. Just a strange game where they wanted to put up early points and the Bengals D was giving them good looks to throw the ball.

Weren’t Quick, Everett, Rapp, Atwell, Akers and Jefferson all 2nd rnd picks?

This offense is lacking a RB like Taylor.
If he’s healthy, a 2nd is good by me.
I'm not understanding the question?
He's an injured RB on the last year of his rookie contract, I dont think he's worth a 2nd round pick particularly one who's potentially a rental

I bet Stafford would gladly restructure his contract (if possible) to aid in getting a RB like Taylor.

Behind a quality LT, a stud RB is the QB's next best friend.
