spins at full speed with great timing, using it when the O.L is off balance or on his heels. He will eploit the weak link. With AD, SUH and Brock getting the quality OL's and the help.....Could be very good

Once again I want to thank Mr. Snead, Mr. McVay and Mr. Phillips for going all in this season to win the Super Bowl.

Because of you three wise men, the final piece of the championship puzzle has been found.

The Last Piece of the Puzzle has been put in its place.

Fowler's go to move isn't unique, but it's rare for someone as strong as he is to use it.

He's got great bend for the rip move.

So, the move is a juke bull rush.

He jukes to get the OL on roller skates. Typically, the OL will lean for the outside move, but can't anchor. Fowler then explodes into a bull rush and there's nothing they OL can do expect try to anchor as best they can. And because he keeps his hands inside, he's equally adept and shedding right or left depending on where the QB goes.

Honestly, if he gets his head on straight with the way Wade's D is constructed, he could get 8-10 sacks in the remaining 8 games.

Also, Fowler is equally adept at playing the left or right, although he's really done well on the left side going up against the RT.

He does have to work on contain a little, making sure to not release inside if he's got contain, but his flaws aren't unfixable.

Also, once he gets into the building with our strength guys and has to put in the same work as our guys... he should be straight.

There's NO WAY anyone's gonna slack off on our DL with AD, Suh and Brockers as the big dogs. Sure, Fowler will be seen as a DPR (designated pass rusher, which is what someone like Von Miller is), but he's also not a liability in run support.

Lastly, he's not really suited do be a straight 4/3 DE. He's best as a standup OLB and Wade has done amazing things with OLBs who are rush specialists.

Can we now call the Rams "Dream Team"? I mean at this point, from top to bottom (Ownership, Coaching, Players, Offense, Defense, Special Teams), what else is it if not?
Keep that dream team crap outta here lol. After all the off season talk about us being like the eagles dream team I hate the term

Nice! Gotta love getting a good edge rusher on our team. Hopefully Fowler dominates the competition with the pressure from the inside. And that'll help guys like Ebukam, Longacre, and Okoronkwo as well, since Fowler will take on the left tackle.

Quinn sure would have come in handy this season, and this guy can play that role now. Will now have more of a 4 man front on defense, even though we run the "3-4".

wow I knew about his off the field troubles but his fights with teammates in practice concern me more. I hope he can turn it around but I'm not getting my Hope's up.

“Rams trade 5th rounder in 2020 for Fowler.”

If this were the headline, we’d all like the trade even more.

If Fowler plays well in his half-season with us, there’s a strong chance he’ll get paid (overpaid) in free agency in 2019. If that happens, there’s a strong chance we get a 2020 3rd round comp pick in return. So, his “rental” price might simply involve “delaying” our 3rd round comp pick from 2019 until 2020.

I’m looking at the trade this way:

Jags get:
2019 3rd round comp
2020 5th rounder

Rams get:
2020 3rd round comp
Fowler for the rest of 2018 and playoffs

So... if the comp picks are essentially a wash... then Trader Les has given us our missing piece at the low, low price of a 2020 5th rounder. (I’m assuming Fowler doesn’t extend with us and cashes in as a FA. )

As usual, Les is a fucking genius.
