I'm starting to question whether I want OBJ back.

OBJ will return, never fear. The Rams want him and he wants to be here. He will get a legit 4 year deal. But I think this year will be incentive-based like last year. Makes no sense to pay him for a full year when he's going to miss most of it. I think he will get a prorated year this season based on when he returns.

OBJ has proven he's a good guy and a good teammate. Baker blamed him for his own inability to read progressions beyond 2 just like that other crybaby in AZ. Kyler is a fraud. He's afraid of getting hurt so he doesn't want to run anymore. Kyler is a poor leader, who tries to lead only when things are great. Leadership must rise when things go wrong, but Kyler has always folded.

The Cards only gave him his 5th year to make him tradeable after the season. They could see the QB pool will be better next year. It's pretty obvious from their draft this year it's all leading up to getting a new QB next year.

I would like him back too. But wouldn't he be considered a luxury at this point? Besides Kupp and Robinson, they have Van Jefferson, Benny Skow, Harris, and Tutu. I guess since the Rams lost almost half of their receivers last year, maybe it's for insurance?

"But I wouldaaaa gave him the Bread!!! And fkkk tht ima air Cam out ! We were in negotiations for it and he just stoppped responding to me! Yeaaaa I’m puttin him on blast cause he didn’t wanna text back"

A lot of speech I'm not sure about.
Am I right in my translation below:

I would have gladly offered Mr. Akers the monetary compensation to wear the #3 jersey.
And, I will be having stern words with him.
We were in negotiations, but Mr. Akers suddenly suspended all communications with me.
My goodness, it has infuriated me beyond belief because he didn't want to discuss it further by text.

"On blast" has thrown me. Maybe because I'm British. Or old. Or a combination of the two.

You are correct. “On blast” basically means he’s going to say it publicly for everyone to hear.

The more I think about it, the more I think it may be some playful banter. And it sounds like OBj seems like he's coming back.

OBJ was a great teammate and fantastic on the field. He has hands of steel and when he gets back to full health he becomes a great weapon for us.

Think when we had so many injuries at WR & TE we were hurting he is great insurance against dropoff from ppg. I believe we should be 30+ ppg and OBJ can be part of that.

I became a huge OBJ fan after how he conducted himself on the Rams as well as his play on the field.

To be fair to Les and and the Rams he is coming off an ACL surgery they don't know how that is going to go until mid fall. This is a gamble on the Rams part.

I truly get the sense OBJ loves the Rams he wants a fair offer based on his current circumstances. He has made a ton of money and now he wants to win he loves the culture the team and the community.

I feel Les will do him right when the time is right. Hang in there OBJ.

There is no thing as a luxury. Woods, Higby and others went down.

The Rams make their hay through the air imagine we didn't have last year we may not have won the Superbowl.

Most teams have 1 great wr and to me the Rams with OBJ, Robinson and Kupp are 3 #1s that means you need one hell of a secondary to combat that - clearly not a luxury instead of it is a huge weapon.

How could any Horns fan not! want the man with the Spiderman sticky fingers back? Do you want to see the NFL's very best defenses reduced to shambles next playoffs? Field Matthew at QB, Cooper, Allen, & OBJ at WR, HigBeast leading our rising TE group, and Cam & Hendo coming out of the backfield for passes. Let the LA offense roll up commanding leads, allowing AD99, Bobby Wagner and Co. to pin their ears back and lead a Rampaging pass rush to annihilate all opposing offenses! Rinse and repeat for 2023 and 2024!!! Quadruple-peat anyone?

I want this size thread winner!!! Or Threadwinner X 100!!!!

Yeah, imagine having Allen Robinson, OBJ and... last season's Triple Crown winner who blew the lid off the most yards in a season including post-season by FOUR HUNDRED and SIXTY ONE yards, COOPER KUPP!!! going into December!!!

Not to mention Van Jefferson, Benny Skowronek, Jacob Harris (who I think it gonna make MAJOR strides this season) and Tutu Atwell???

There's a reason so many teams are stocking up on CBs!!! They know they gonna need them!!!

Imo OBJ is essential. He is just an outstanding receiver with the ability to run routes, get open one on one, catch the ball, and score. Sorry, but Jefferson isn't in the same conversation. Put OBJ with Kupp and Robinson and the Rams have an unstoppable passing game that works for explosives, red zone and third down conversions.

Imo Rams really need both more scoring and a more consistent offense. Hopefully we will have a strong D, but without Von Miller we can't expect the pass rush to shut down defenses as it did in the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl and other playoff games. Signing AR is a big deal, but imo we also need the ability to really win games with the offense when needed.

OBJ imo elevates the O to that level. And I don't care what he tweets.

I still think he's trolling. No way he'd be saying it acting like this if he was still trying to sign.

We all want OBJ back. Who wouldn't? But they are probably gonna pay Coop 25 mil, Robinson is getting what 15 mil? And now they have to pay OBJ... how much? That is the luxury that McSnead might not wish to pay. I agree the drop off between him and Van or Skow is large, but there is only 1 ball to go around.

They don’t follow each other on Instagram (Akers and OBJ)

Just here to stir the pot…
