Shula would be stupid to leave the Rams while McSnead is in place, unless of course he values money and power over winning.
Same for the Rams until McVay came along. If a coordinator aspires to be a HC, they need to strike when the iron is hot. Never know when the next opportunity will come along.
Houston was a bad gig, but Ryans made it work out, Carolina was a disaster and Canales turned things around heck even Buffalo was a shit show until McDermott showed up
I actually was starting to type that out....Same for the Rams until McVay came along.
shula's going nowhere...
he hasn't put himself worthy of meaningful consideration...
when he does, then i'll worry...
mcvay has his stamp all over the defense ...
go rams

Saleh is good DC. Trash HC.I don't think Shula will get a call this season, unless the Rams win the Super bowl. In some good news, Robert Saleh is getting interest and is getting interest from the Cardinals.
IMO Aubrey stays with The Rams.He need to get away.In fact if he didn’t leave for Detroit I don’t think Shula would’ve been promoted above him.Shula could take Pleasant with him as his DC if the Rams don't promote him immediately to DC.
Another guy that has intrigued me for years is Jim Leonhard of the Broncos. Former player, transitioned to college coach, and been with Denver the past two seasons ... DB coach, pass game coordinator and assistant head coach. Leonhard would likely replace Vance Joseph as DC, should Joseph get a HC job.If Shula does get a head coaching job, I could definitely see McVay either promoting Pleasant, or bringing-back Morris ... but ... I would be interested in Jonathan Gannon.
Well, I do agree with you that he should not leave yet.
But if you look at it, realistically, would you stay at your company just because it’s successful? And turn down a massive promotion, pay raise with full authority over that company?
