born 1956. Became a fan in 67 when we moved to LA from oregon. Retired in January. Cannot figure out how anyone gets bored and goes back to work. pretty sure they just ran out of money. Or else they got no imagination.

Crap! 1956 here and if any of you call me grandpa, I’ll kill ya!

Actually told my crew that just before I retired as we just hired 8 new hires, all under the age of 30.
Same here. February '56, year of the classic automobile.

Just thought this thread could use a Group Picture.

FYI, @Loyal is not in this photo. He needed to go to the restroom ... again.

So my dad took me to a game at the Coliseum in 1969. Roman Gabriel put a smoking on the 49ers.

I was hooked. :)

I haven't lived in LA since '74 but the embarrassment of riches us old timers had to great sports teams from the 50's through the 70's has to be nearly unmatched.
Grew up watching Bruins basketball (Wooden era), Trojan Football and the big three, Rams, Dodgers, Lakers during those decades.
How much luckier could any sports fan be?

I was born in 1972, and at 5-6 years old, rams were my favorite animals. I remember walking into the living room where my dad was watching football, and seeing the Rams for the first time. I asked him, "Who is that team?" He responded, "The Los Angeles Rams," and that was all she wrote.

This was smack dab in the middle of Steelers/Browns territory. We lived in East Palestine, Ohio, where the Train Derailment happened last February; an hour from Pittsburgh, and an hour and a half from Cleveland. EVERYBODY was either a Browns or a Steeler's fan, including my 2 brothers (Still are).

Almost here. Got voice recorder working to take notes. A lot to pay attention to this TC. DL, OL, edge, d backfield. New practice facility with only one field (that can't be good), but will make it easier for us to get to all the position groups. I'll review notes after I get home then post report on desktop PC, so it will be couple hours after end of practice. VetRamFan no doubt will post observations as they happen.
Really looking forward to this season as I believe Rams have a real shot at going deep into playoffs.

I put down 200$ in Reno for Rams to win division.
