Would you sit the starters and let them rest and heal?

Play the starters against the Falcons but sit them out for the Cards game?

Or play the starters both game to keep the momentum going?

Its a must to play starters against Atlanta. Not only do we need the win to hope for #5, but we need the draft pick to improve. Can't have our guys sit 2 weeks and then expect them to be dialed for the playoffs.

If the 5 seed is on the line next weekend, think we need to play starters and try to get up a fair amount and sit them at half. That's how I'd do it, but, I think McVay sits all against turds.

I think McVay is very conservative sometimes so he has to be considering holding out the starters to rest and heal up.

The issue as I see it is this. Let's say the hags win next week and win the NFC west (good God I don't want the whiners to get the bye). Then we rest starters and lose to Arizona. Now we're seeded lower than the whiners and likely have to play at the Bears or at Philly.

honestly, even with all my negativity I love that the Rams are the underdogs. They play so much harder with a chip on their shoulder. (in 2001 if we were the underdog we would have curb stomped the Patriots!)

Really? I'd rather be the #1 seed with a bye and be at home for the rest of the playoffs, provided we don't blow any games. I get it that the loss to hags took it out of the Ram's hands and so it is what it is now. That said, the Rams are probably not underdogs in betting terms in the first round of the playoffs.

I'd rest anyone who's dinged up. I want to beat Atlanta for seeding and for their pick to be higher, but hitting the playoffs healthy needs to be the top goal.

When you get into resting dudes to not risk them with the playoff spot already won, I imagine McVay will be more conservative than most of us.

running thru the Playoff Machine.....ATL game has no effect on the 5/6 seed ONLY the AZ game does due to us jockeying with Hags/Shitters for 5/6 so we need the division win to lock up the 5 seed...

the only game that matters as far as seeding is the AZ game.....
Actually a loss to Atlanta drops them from 5 vs TB/Carolina to 6th vs Philly or Chicago. And impacts their draft pick via ATL Win out and they are the 5 seed.

Uh, that was 24 years ago, and nothing about the 2001 team and the 2025 team can be compared at all.

If we had a competent gameplan in SB 36 we would have won.

Play both with starters, and play the game out! Defense has been playing like shit. let them figure it out. offense it depends on if we have a huge lead in the AZ game. Start everyone who needs to Start for Falcons.

Mcvay will prob not give a shit if we are #5 or #6 but for the sake of his team, going into Philly or Chicago round 1 as a #6 will not be good for us!

Bring Up Hunter to Help on KR/Pr Duties maybe help a bit

Rams need to keep the 5th seed. It would give a chance for the NFC Championship to be home at Sofi against either the hawks or packers. So, if the 5th is play, play to win; otherwise rest them starters as much as possible.

We are a Wild Card team, We are Underdogs.
But, are we the underdogs? What would you say the odds are Rams vs. Panthers? I'd say Panthers underdogs. Rams vs. Packers (Packers underdogs); Rams vs. Bears (Bears underdogs); Rams vs 9ers (9ers underdogs); Rams vs. Hawks (Hawks underdogs); Rams vs. Eagles (maybe Rams are the dogs here)

Looking at it that way, we ain't no underdogs!
