Every bobble head in the nation talked smack about our Oline and chastised Mr Snead for not
addressing in the draft. Now we have have one of the better olines in the league.
If you saw @Merlin s cut ups of our guys at work, you know it doesn't get much
better than some these holes they are opening up.

They laughed at us for acquiring That "Bust" Corbett from Cleveland.
When are these idiots gonna understand that Snead, Mcvay and Kromer know what the hell they're doing??
And that The Rams are gonna be winning for years to come!

Here's to the Boy's in the Trenches. Give'em Hell!!! Go Rams!!!

If you listened to any of the last couple games the announcers talked about how well the young offensive line was playing. Chris Collinsworth broke down every player & how well Les Snead has found such good talent.
There were holes Gurley missed & Ram fans just wanted to blame the Offensive Line.
I look at Fuller & think about how good Lea Snead(Rams Scouts) is at finding Talent up & down the draft.

2018 though is still a big question mark. LT is the question moving forward. Blythe only has a year. Corbett?

I just know I’ve been talking about the depth. Was amazed Noteboom was healthy & going to be the starting LG.
This is the best depth The Rams Offensive Line has had under Sean McVay & from way back. It was pretty easy to see.

I think the OL is playing great and the extra blocking the Rams are getting from its WRs and TEs is also a big factor in the successful run game.

I too, have been a big fan of Edwards since last season and was wondering why he wasn’t starting after coming outta camp. I hope they keep him next to Whitworth as long as possible. He’ll be a monster by the end of the year.

Kromer has worked with the TE’s for awhile. They work with his group on formations & skills regular.
Everett has become excellent. Higbee when he first started out under Fisher he would get blown up & knocked back 3 feet.He keeps getting better year in year out.
Jefferson is already better than Cooks.

Mmm...sounds good. But I still think that pumpkins and crows go together like bagels and butter, like a burger and fries, like barbeque and dry rub.
Otay with all due respect ma'am bagels get cream or lochs and this is from a Miami boy lol

I can also cook some Ribs off the Charts with Mojo and any BBQ sauce thanks to my Cuban bros and sisters.

On dry rub O yeah when them boys in Texas showed me how to cook a Brisket, Hell Yeah.

I love pumbkin pie,but my sweet potato pie will blow it off the charts.

Not to brag at,all I'm white never been bias, had every race and color in my house.

And 1 of the things that EVER stuck in my head had a comment.

Dude the way you cooked that sweet tater pie, you must be part black lol.

Todd Gurley??? Mcvay F”d up last season. Whatever anybody wants to say ?? It was not that hard to figure out how things played out game by game.
Adapted ?? Look at GBay & Cinncy. Anyway will see how the defense pans out ?? There is 2 sides of the ball. McSneads 2020 draft will payoff. 2018 Draft The Rams really F”d up.

Ok, Sunshine.

Austin Blythe press conference on the Rams o-line: https://www.therams.com/video/austin-blythe-jared-goff-leadership-offensive-line-depth-run-game

Blythe on Edwards: “He’s just a tremendous athlete, really smart, does things the right way all the time.”

Blythe on Corbett: “His strength and explosiveness is what sets him apart… He comes off the ball and just mauls people… We’ve got a lot of guys who just come off the ball and their intent is to maul people, and he’s one of them."

Fair enough. I'm not a fan of cream cheese, so butter is my choice.

I didn't intend to address any posts you or anyone in particular made, sorry if I seemed to do so. Not into personal criticism. Just making a point that Kromer deserves more respect than he has received at times in this forum, and hopefully we can recognize that.
Kromer has done a fine job this season. But he's not infallible. Choosing Boom over Edwards for example and the fans were just as correct on that count as they were wrong about needing more OL in the draft (and I am among that group).

There is probably some reason for Kromer making that call behind the scenes. Going with Boom. We are not privy to all that however so all we can do is speculate. But anyway. I can only think of a poster maybe two who don't like Kromer or give him his due. He's fielded better OL than I anticipated in 2017 and 2020. 2018 was a fine OL too, albeit a bit finesse. Only 2019 was a down year and injuries factored in there. So I respect the hell out of him.

And btw when I see folks question a single spot I don't look at that as shitting on the coach or anything like that. Sometimes fans do get it right because all we focus on is the film. The staff has to juggle personalities and work with these guys every day and that changes the equation a lot.

Yea some of them are seeing it now , but back during the offseason all I heard was how
bad our line was and how Snead should have addressed it in the draft and free agency.
But meanwhile back at ROD Nation we knew about the potential of our oline and that Snead & Co
had been quietly addressing it through the draft and trade for a while now.

So Ram, Don't you just love Snead's ability to find talent all through the draft and UDFA?
He has that professional river boat gambler mentality and I freakin love it.
He and McVay are not afraid to go against the grain. They are trend setters not trend followers.

Snead's Ram OL blending is near perfect. This 2020 OL might be Snead's best overall combination of 13 Ol' ers under contract yet. Depth has never been this good since.......?

LT- Whitworth 15 seasons/ 2nd UFA Ram contract / ex-All Pro
RT- Havenstein 6th/ Snead 2nd rd pick/PFWA All-Rookie Team 2015
OC- Blythe 5th/ 2nd Ram contract/ Snead signed off Colts PS
OT- Noteboom 3rd/ Snead 3rd rd pick
OC- Shelton 3rd/ Snead signed off Card PS 2019 ex 9ers 7th rd pick
OC- Allen 3rd / Snead 4th rd pick
OG- Demby 3rd season/ Snead 6th rd pick
OG- Kolone 3rd season / UDFA 3rd yr on PS
RG- Corbett 3rd/ Snead traded for 5th rd pick-former Browns high 2nd rd pick
OT- Evans 2nd season /Snead 3rd rd pick
OG- Edwards 2nd season / Snead 5th rd pick
OG- Anchrum 1st season / Snead 7th rd pick/ 2 x National Championship Team
OC- Cabral 1st season / Snead UDFA sign

Special Note: Snead ended up ahead of many other NFL teams by getting two young good starting OG's (one starting 11 gms the other started 7 in their first Ram seasons) by utilizing just two 5th rd draft selections.

Not to rub it in, but...

Respectfully suggest an extra helping of crow, with the works-- feathers, beaks and talons--- for all those who loudly proclaimed that Aaron Kromer can't coach. The o-line is executing high precision blocking schemes for running and pass protection.

It isn't just the personnel this year. It's the coaching too. Kromer is once again showing he is one of the best in the NFL.

Here's a good short All-22 breakdown of Goff and the oline from the Rams site:

What a fantastic video. Really shows how well the oline is going right now and how perfect goff is moving in the pocket and throwing the ball.

Love that shit.

Great post dude

Some of us went against the grain and predicted it.

Sports shows are beyond a joke these days. They are filler to get us to watch adverts. They do that through talking heads who are instructed to argue in opposition to keep people watching. The commentary is almost worthless and completely facile. They then post the clip to YouTube with a sensational headline where you get more adverts thrown at you, while simultaneously getting to pick the argument you like because it fits your own world view. To use an English term, sport shows are complete bollocks

In this upcoming game with the Giants this Sunday .....my first hope is that the Rams can get a sizeable amount of points up in order to get some of the OL reserve unit ( Evans/ Shelton/ Anchrum) a good amount of snaps with the 1st team offense.

First, LT Whitworth can get rested in the 2nd half with Bobby Evans seeing some action @ his post. Second, Havenstein giving way to a young Tremayne Anchrum snaps @ RT post. Third, is seeing Coleman Shelton gets snaps @ OC for Austin Blythe.

In that scenario, I'd be ok with Goff being on the sidelines and letting Wolford get his feet wet

And the same technique is used in media that they try to pass off as "news" channels.
