I know it's just 1 game, but has Hendo converted any of you guys that had some reservations about him
during the offseason?
I have been chugging the kool aid on this kid since I watched his college tape, post draft.
Not saying he is gonna be a super star or anything , but I love this kids potential.
A duel threat back who can break one on a crease. He is settling down and running
with a bit more patience and starting to show his very good vision.
Once Cam gets back and starts relaxing a bit more, we are gonna have one hellacious RB room.

I kept saying that Henderson needed 45% of the carries. He just proved me right (the rare time I'm right), and I can't wait for Akers to get back. Our offense is clicking on all cylinders, and I really do believe we can win the Super Bowl this year.

last week against Dallas when we failed to convert on 4th down with the outside pitch to
Malcom. I was thinking why are we using Brown on that play. Not saying Hendo converts,
but he runs a hell of a better pitch than Brown.

I'll need to see a couple more good games. I dont give a damn who our RB is. I just care that one of them or a combination of the three gives us success. If one of them pulls ahead and becomes a great back for us, great

I still feel akersvwill become the feature back
Don’t see that one bit. Since getting rid of Gurley it’s been my mind we are going to to use the committee approach, and with his actions he’s confirmed that.

It’ll have to be a special back like Gurley for us to go back to having a feature back man.

When I saw Hendo bust through the line on that long one I yelled "There he goes!" Almost broke it all the way.

On the goal line TD I saw him go into the line and thought he was stopped. Then he pops out and falls into the end zone.

Left an impression on me, for sure. And I had been doubting him while he was injured in TC.

What you just described reminded me of that old Gurley and how he’d get in the open field and be GOOONE!!

Miss having a back that could do that.

I love Henderson’s college reel. My only concern is his durability
His NFL reel from Sunday was as good as any of his college highlights imo.
I am big on Akers, and still think hes going to be big for us.... but I might have underestimated Henderson.

He is a legit playmaker. He can be a star for this team.

Hendy had a great game and congrats are in order.

Like others here, I love our RB room and look forward to a two headed monster once Akers is healthy.

Now that our OL seems to once again be at least a good one, and with all those receiving threats at Goff’s disposal? Well, let’s just say that a top 5 O looks very possible. And that bodacious running game should give us a lot of TOP wins.

I wish I knew his thinking on that big run. It’s weird seeing someone cut to the middle of the field on a big run. Always go to the sideline Incase someone pops the ball out behind you.

I think he was just purely trying to separate for a run to the house. Shortest distance between two places being a straight line sort of thing.

That's the kind of explosion we need in our running game, one that has been far too absent since the latter part of 2018 (well, with the exception of a few great Hendo runs against the 49ers last year). Having that will all the other weapons we have ... well, I'd hate to be a DC trying to game plan against the Rams.

Plus, I think I'm going to like the RBBC approach. Hendo, Akers, and Brown are each a different kind of back from one another, yet all of them are versatile. When they are all healthy, we can really fuck up a defense by going with the hot hand and rotating them out to keep them all fresh.
