Every player will tell you if it hits you in the hands you should catch the ball. I get it was a tough one but yeah he should have caught it. Don't think less of the rookie either way.

Sure he didn't catch the ball. If we would have lost the game there would have been so much shit that guy would have got on these forums.

I don't go on other teams forums on principle, but I can;t imagine the shit Jaquiski Tartt is getting right now.

That could have won them the game. But maybe not.

Same thing with that catch. Lets give him credit he was even open. I doubt he would drop that again.

He wouldn’t be worth his salt if he didn’t think that.

Still doesn’t make it hitting him in the hands. He made a good attempt just to get a finger on it. That old bullshit about catching everything you touch is nonsense.

It's not catch everything you touch but he had both mitts on it. Not fingers, hands, as in all fingers. The problem is he cut inside and stayed inside on his route. The ball went outside. Still, you have to make that catch and I don't see any reason why most receivers wouldn't make that catch.

Tartt is getting hammered while Ramsey dropped 2 easier picks in the 2nd half, one at the 49rs fucking 20. The tartt drop was a much harder catch. Way longer and more awkward than either of Ramseys.

It's tough to catch the ball when it bounces off your chest.

Assuming no blue font I see what you're saying but his slamming his helmet on the bench tells us what we already knew; he should have had that with his hands, and that would have been a huge shift in the game.

Don't get me wrong. I love Ramsey, but man, how many games has he ever dropped a pick let alone 2. He just made a circus rolling into the endzone pick a couple weeks ago..

I’ll go back and watch but what I recall is it ended up coming over his outside shoulder and barely touched his left hand, maybe his thumb.

He didn't track the ball well. Put himself in an awkward position but still had both hands on it.

Say all you want, but you have to catch that ball. Reminded me of the Cooks pass in the SB, except we won this time.

And then it bounces off his hands. He put himself under it rather than to a side.

I have a friend who is a big 9ers fan (I know, I know - shame on me). He tells me that the sentiment among his friends is that - yeah, Tart dropped an easy INT, but the 9ers had the ball 2 more times after that and went nowhere with it. They are putting this game squarely on Jimmy G - and to a lesser but real extent on Kyle S.
