WTF - Yeah okay. Johnny gets Covid & Rams special teams coach as well. Both vaccinated.Then The Rams had to make a decision as well. Oh - yeah the part that got me was BoJo got it as well ? At least a false negativity?

The story goes The Rams have 2 of the best punters in The NFL.One being the highest paid,another who just wanted to compete with The best.

Johnny helps Bojo & mentors him. They switched of taking turns in the first preseason game.The 2nd game Matthew Gay had to punt.

Rumors start to come out Hekker is on the trade block & was ask to take a pay cut.I thought Inheard he actually did when all The players either way. Johnny did what was best for The Rams.
BoJo a FA punter gets traded.I don’t know how some think it wasn’t a things Who trades for a Punter & why did Hekker just take a pay cut?

Back when the Rams signed Bojorquez some of us said uh oh competition for Johnny. Many argued its not possible. Its funny how that changed as we got close to cut downs.

Originally I suggested that he was too good to let float in free agency and the Rams may just be trying to flip him for a pick before the season. This thread had me had me over analyzing the cap out of the situation and in the end that's all it was about; a pick. Which I thought was lame. (A good punter is worth a solid 6th rounder. Sixth round picks rarely contribute as much as a good punter or even make the team. Green Bay was being stingy in this trade).

Wouldn't it be ironic if the Rams Superbowl hopes hinge on which punter performs better in a very close head to head playoff game this year?

Chalk it up to angst. Plus Hekker himself added to the drama. Besides, what would we do with our free time? Look at the boobie thread all day? Boobies are nice and all but our brains need more stimulation, its fun to try to read the tea leaves.

That’s actually pretty funny.Back in the 60’s that was myself. Just think if they had the thong bikini.I would have been hitch hiking.
As far as Hekker goes,he has a good leg.His off the field is off the charts.He got called out.Hopefully he doesn’t lose his kid at the beach.I’m sure he can still afford to pay for the help to watch,even at a reduced punters wage.
Salary Cap is still a thing & it’s not always what have you done for me lately. Brockers had to have seen the writing on the Stauls at SoFI.
