Obviously we all wish a different outcome, but I found myself not feeling the loss as I did when we lost to them last time. You could see that the Rams derailed after that game.

I am most bummed that Stafford's crazy, possibly MVP season was wasted, and I agree with most of the fan's observations that the defense and special teams cost us a lot of games.

Overall great season and I will REALLY be looking forward to seeing what the Rams do in the draft and offseason to beef up this team.

Ditto. I was about to start a celebration thread. So close to winning this one! No other team can compete in Seattle on the road twice! Regardless of the defense and special teams mistakes, we had a chance to take the lead with 5mins left.

We have 2 first round picks next year - a chance to get some speed on offense and a CB.

So disappointed the Rams won’t be culminating this great season with a Super Bowl. But I came away proud of this team. They need to restructure their special teams, Obviously the CB position, and defensive philosophy. But I was proud of this team.

Only one team is happy at the end of the season.

Yep what a season. With most of our team coming back (can't imagine Stafford hanging it up after the year he had and how he played tonight), the cap space and picks....we are winning it all next year

I keep thinking.....................if the Rams had Denver's defense with our Offense........................ouch!!

our Offense was the best in the league, but not the other two parts of the team. If we gave the Seahawks our defense, we would have won.

I am picking up what you are laying down..but the Rams were not the best team..best offense..yes..best defense, no..best ST..not by a long shot

I think the offense is clearly Super Bowl caliber. But defense and special teams are just too much to overcome. Defense just overachieved in Sept and Oct and gave everyone a false sense of hope.

I hope they don't say F them picks we've been drafting well lately and can keep going on it. There are a couple free agents that we can pick up and if they finally value CB and ILB we can be a dominant team next year with the picks we have and the cap we have.

That said I agree with OP it was a good season I enjoyed it and look forward to the offseason and seeing the Rams become better.

As good as the offense was it could have been much better. But that's for other threads.

The team played their ass off. We built up the O more than the D and ST and that was obvious throughout the year.

I do not think so. This should have been a SB run. The reason we’ll be watching our division rival win the SB (most likely) is inexcusable. You should never miss out on the #1 seed AND the SB due to special teams. It’s hard to get back to these games (not that I trust McVay) so you have to strike while you have the opportunity.
