SF fall 43-17. At home.

I may lose both my FF matchups but I won't care... :zany:

Looked like Dak got his ankle snapped against the g-men, at the very least a dislocation. I don’t know if it was a designed run or not but he ain’t playin no more for a while and the play caller’s gonna get roasted. Tough break.

It's not the only reason, but its a big reason why I prefer a pocket passer with the ability to escape a broken play, but that's about it.

I don't think it's bad to have your QB run, but they have to be smart about it and protect themselves. We're seeing more and more QB's trying to truck their way for more yards instead of sliding and they end up getting injured - a la Wentz. Dak is a big, physical dude and it sucks that he got injured the way he did. At the end of the day he's a guy just trying to help his team win and I respect him for that. Wishing for a speedy recovery.

How many people took SF in survivor pools this week?

Wonder what that does for their contract negotiations?
I think that the Cowboys have all the leverage now. There's going to be an element of "unknown" regarding his recovery from that injury. I despise Jerry Jones but the NFL is a business and he's going to make it a business decision. Cowboys offered Dak a contract, he didn't accept it - what incentive do they have at this point to offer him a similar contract coming off an injury?

I haven't invested as much time in college football as I used to so forgive me if this is an obvious answer. But, what did the Giants see in Daniel Jones when they drafted him? Admittedly I've only watched a few Giants game but nothing about this guy screams "franchise QB".

Assuming dak heals there will be teams that would sign him

Mothers, don't let your babies grow up to leave the pocket...
Don't let 'em run for the 1st and lower their pads.
Let em stay in the pocket and suffer the sack

Anyone see the ref on the Dallas game get a GREAT look at an obvious hold by Dallas, reach for his flag but then decide not to throw it? What kind of shit is that?

Oh I'm sure there's going to be teams willing to take a flyer on him even if he still needs time to heal. But as far as negotiations with the Cowboys go, I'm not sure they're going to feel obligated to offer him the same contract they previously did.
