Yeah, I think so too...He's made some real nice throws and he's thrown up a few bricks too...Overall I think he's looked pretty decent against a real good D......The pick 6 was not as bad as it looked, the receiver slipped and almost fell down.. Agree too that the Viking D hasn't been all that and a bag of chips all day...Mixed bag for both teams, IMO...

I am all for making the game a bit safer but that "don't fall on the qb" rule give ridiculous penalties. And how are you even supposed to tacle someone and not fall on them ?

Dude didnt have to drive his whole weight into grabapole. Its the little jump to drive all his weight onto the QB that makes it a penalty. If guys would just get the sack and not try to take out the QB this rule would not exist, but guys want to take out the QBs so the league had to do something to protect them.

If how the announcers explain it is accurate it's still a penelty unless the tackler rolls his weight away from the QB. If he galls on qb and doesn't roll its a penelty
As long as they dont make the extra effort to injure the QB it wont get called. Dont know why the DL dont just take the sack without trying to inflict extra pain/injury. Its been a point of emphasis all preseason, if a DL is worried about it just roll while tackling the QB instead of jumping and driving their full body weight into the QB as he hits the ground.
