Pretty obvious to me. the coach has no confidence in Goff. He never wants to throw into the endzone and chooses to try to run with an oline that is suspect. Plus he out smarts himself. Why would you run over the TEs on 4 and a yard.

Goff is not the answer, if Rams make it to SB it would surprise the hell out of me. Lakers and Dodgers won titles so I dont expect a 3rd hometown team to win it all.

I appreciate everyone here. The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. I really thought the Rams would win it all this year. I didn't plan on Goff losing his mojo. Maybe we somehow squeak in the playoffs.
Goff is not secure in his job. We have a deep playoff defense and have one shot left not to squander it. But he's gonna get a chance to get us into the playoffs and then a chance to show what he can do if they get in.
So let's wait and see how things play out. If he finishes poorly and we miss the playoffs I might agree with you. But either way there's going to be a lot of focus on the QB position by the Rams this offseason.
